(That sounds like something out of Avatar: The Last Airbender. xD)
Jesse gently patted Hunter's back. "We all have something we regret, but the best thing is to move on with life." She knows that it sounds hollow coming from her, seeing as she couldn't get over letting someone who saved her get killed, and she didn't even know the soldier's name. She would never forget that, it will forever haunted her, or at least she thought it would.

(Lol that's actually where I got the idea. xD)
Hunter smiled up at Jesse at her advice. "Thanks." He said, gazing back down at the ground. He was consumed by his own memories of hatred, abandonment, and sadness. Not paying attention to where he was going, he nearly ran into a telephone pole. Shaking off the bad memories, he focused on the task ahead. Getting home.

(Knew it! )
Jesse smiled at Hunter and noticed that it seemed like he was getting lost in his own pain. "Hey, you don't need to worry about whatever happened to come back. You are welcome to stay with me as long as you like." She said kindly with a gentle smile.

"Really?" Hunter asked, surprised that she was being kind enough to offer him a home even though she hardly knew him. He truthfully didn't know his his parents were still alive, he had no memories of what had happened to him and how he had gotten here. It wouldn't hurt to stay here for a little while.

Jesse nodded. "Sure, I live alone so there will be really no problems, I have a friend who stops by every now and again, but that is it." She didn't have parents to being with and God and the other angels cast her out of Heaven, refusing to accept her fully for such a stupid thing as sexuality.

"Ok." Hunter said a little happier now. He continued alongside Jesse, a thought brewing in his mind. "I learned in outside knowledge that there was a rare treat here.... I think it's called icicle cream? Do you think we could get one?" He asked, his mouth running on and on once again.

Jesse laughed a bit, seeing that Hunter had a bit of trouble pronouncing some words. "It is called ice cream, I think we might be able to find some around here, but after we get to the cabin, I am going to need to find you a shirt to wear." She said, noting the fact that he wasn't wearing shirt, she would have to look through her closet for some shirts that might be too small for her.

"Oh ok." Hunter said at the right pronunciation of 'ice cream'. "When we are at your house, can we get a hat or some other head wear that I can wear over my hair?" He asked, scratching the back of his hed thoughtfully.
(geeze, it's soooo short. I hate it.)

(Lol, I have had shorter. )

Jesse thought for a moment and nodded. "I think I might have something, I'll have to look through my closet when we get there." She said, trying to figure out if she had any hats he could wear.

(I've gotten better at adding details and making it longer. )

"Okie dokie." Hunter said with a little hop, excited that he could try on some human clothes instead of his boring Elven wear. He was going to keep his cloak no matter what happened, it reminded him of his home and gave him hope that his parents were alive still. "So...." He started, trying to prevent an awkward silence between them

(Same here. )

Jesse smiled at Hunter, she could tell that even though he had faced pain, he was still able to smile brightly and be a kid. "Are there any other questions you have about humans or this planet?" She was trying to think on whether or not to tell him that it isn't just humans here but there were other elves as well.

"What other creatures are here?" He asked, recalling her earlier statement that there were other creatures living here besides humans. Hunter smiled back up at her, pondering the question himself.

(Grr, curse the short reply monster.)

(Lol. It gets us all! )

Jesse though for a moment. "Well, we have animals and some other creatures that the humans believe not to be real. You might be surprised to hear this, but Earth has elves as well, but they are about a foot shorter than you are. Other creatures as well, like werewolves, vampires, fallen angels, and all that. I should have a book at home about all of these creatures."

Hunter listened to her explain the creatures that reside on earth besides humans and stared open mouthed as she listed them all. "That many live on this little planet?" He asked, amazed they could all get along on such a small planet. The only race on his planet had been elves and drows, and on very special occasions there were tusknoes. They only arrived in the ocean during winter or when the gladiator circus arrived.

Jesse nodded. "The population of this planet is about seven billion people, I last checked, it is always changing. Most of the creatures have humanoid form, but those who don't, stay away from the human world, for fear that the humans will react badly and try to harm them." She shrugged.

"Wow, that's allot of people crowded on such a small planet." He mumbled more to himself then to anyone else. He listened to the last part and nodded in understanding, knowing that if humans came to his planet they would be treated unfairly. "I get it." He said with an understanding nod, his bare feet moving from road to grass again.

Jesse nodded. "Yes, it is. That is just to be the human population, there are probably some fallen angels and other creatures counted into that as well. There is a larger population of animals here as well." She explained.

(I need to get off for a while after this post, stupid family time....)

"Wooooow." Hunter said at a loss for a better word. He had never imagined that earth would be populated by not only humans, but supernatural beings as well. He understood the animal part easily, how would anything survive without some source of food. "How much longer until we reach your cabin?" He asked, changing the subject a bit.

(I am as well. My bestie is over! )

Jesse nodded, it was strange to think, but most saw the planet as being huge but she has seen larger ones. She looked around the area, hearing his question. She kept walking and saw the cabin and smiled at Hunter. "We are here." She said as she walked up to the door and unlocked it then opened it wide to let Hunter enter.
