Jesse sat down on a bench, she was panting deeply, seeing as she just ran about another five miles. She kept running like this everyday, still trying to forget the memory of the man dying in her arms, after he saved her life. She felt tears whelm in her eyes as she thought about it then quickly wiped them away. She looked up at the night sky, it would be pitch black out at this time of night but there were street lights around. Jesse could only see one star and the more she stared at it, the closer it seemed to be until she noticed that wasn't a star at all, but something else. She moved out of the way quickly and took cover at a large stone as the 'star' fell into the beach, sand began to fly into the air, making Jesse cough. She walked over to where she believed that the 'star' was laying, she looked closer and could tell that it was not a star but some form of a ship. She didn't rather or not to walk over to the ship or contact the authorities.
(Can I join? )
(Sure. )
The strange object was not a star or a ship at all, it was more like a pod then anything else. When it crashed into the ground, the door of the pod had opened up from the force of the crash and a figure could be seen inside. It was a boy around the age of twelve with orange-brown hair and a forest green cloak wrapped around him. The boy seemed to be sleeping at the moment despite the sickening force of the crash only moments before.
(Is this good?)
(Is this good?)
(it is great! )
Jesse had jumped back when the door of the pod had opened, expecting something to come out of it but she she saw nothing step out she walked closer to see what was inside of the pod. She peered inside and saw the young boy, curious as to who or what it was. She gently shook the creature's shoulder, she could tell that it looked very human-like, instead of what most humans pictured aliens to be. "Uh..." She said, not knowing how to wake the boy.

Shaking turned out to be all she needed to do to wake the boy up since he slowly opened his eyes moments later and stared into her face. He was startled to find a young woman standing over him, but not as startled when he glanced at his surroundings. "Where am I?" He mumbled softly, a slight accent in his voice. He had no recollection of how he got in the pod, much less how he got here.
Jesse was glad that it wasn't hard to wake the boy up but she could tell that he was very confused as to what happened to him. "Southern California." She answered his question. "To be more clear, you are one of the smaller towns in Cali." She said calmly. "Do you have a name?" She knew it was kind of a stupid question, but she couldn't think of any other way to phrase the question.
"My true name is Feredir Lassthanlhûn, but most people call me Hunter." He said, grabbing the sides of the pod and sitting up. "Now that you know my name, may I ask what is yours?" He asked politely, the accent making the sentence sound a little more sophisticated.
She hadn't heard many accents in the past couple months so it did take her a second or two to realize what had asked. "Jesse Bell." Jesse said, still curious about the boy. "Do you know what happened to you or as to why you are here?"
Hunter shook his head slowly, not knowing exactly where 'here' was. "Where exactly is Califorana?" He asked, pronouncing California wrong. "I only know of Varisia, my home." He stated, using the sides of the pod to propel himself to a standing position. His clothes were now visible under the cloak and he was wearing a pair of white pants with a gold belt tied around his waist with no shirt on, exposing the long scar on his body.
Jesse was a bit surprised that he didn't know how he got here. "America, one of the countries on planet Earth." She said, stepping back to let Hunter get out of the pod, seeing as he stood up now. She wasn't going to question the scar, she knew it was none of her business. She was still trying to figure out what he was, she knew that there many different creatures that could take a humanoid shape.
(I find it funny how your elf is taller than me. xD)

(Lol!)
"Earth? I might have heard of this planet in my studies...." He trailed off, trying to think. "Ah I know!" He said snapping his fingers suddenly. "Earth is where the you humans live!" He said with a smile, glad he remembered. "We had to learn about the other galaxies in outside knowledge!" Hunter added, referring to one of the many classes he had to take as a child.

Jesse jumped a bit at his suddenly out burst. "Yeah, humans and other creatures. Might I ask as to what you are?" She asked, looking at the boy curiously. "Or as to where you came from?" She had many different questions running through her mind, then she looked over at the sun which was being to rise. "We need to get you out here. The people here usually take anything that don't seem to be human." She said.
"Of course." Hunter replied politely. "I am an elf, three-fourths high-elf and one-fourth Drow. I come from Vasisia, two galaxies away from this one." He said, rambling on. When Jesse started talking again he nodded, understanding as to why they tried to remove anything unwanted. "Where are we going to go?" He asked, gazing at the rising sun. It was so different here then in Varisia, where you saw a red sun and a white one.
Jesse listened to what he said, a bit shocked that there were other elves, besides the ones on Earth. "We will head to my home, it is a small cabin, about a couple miles away." She said. "Just follow me and you might want to do something to cover you hair, most people here find it strange to have any colored hair that isn't black, red, blonde, or brown, more so at the age you look to be." She said, get off the mound of sand that was now around the pod, but the sand was starting to fall apart.
Hunter nodded and grabbed the hood that hung limp on his back, flipping it over his hair. The hood covered most of his hair save for a couple of loose strands and his eyebrows. He stepped out of the pod onto the sand and lost his balance from the sudden shift of the sand. Hunter fell onto his butt with a short laugh and slid down the small mound of sand instead. Even though he had a large scar across his chest, he looked like a normal boy having a little fun.
Jesse was actually a bit glad to see that he wasn't some uptight kid. She knew they had a good ways of walking, so once they were a good distances from the pod, then they would be able to figure out more on everything, she also had to think on how Hunter would react to her wings, she believed that he only knew of humans being inhabited here.
"So where are you from? Have you lived in Califorana all your life?" He asked walking backwards beside her. He liked to have fun and hated when people were sad and wouldn't tell him. Hunter looked at Jesse's face and a frown formed on his lips. "Why do you look sad?" He asked, not knowing that she was actually thinking.
Jesse thought for a moment. "No, not my whole life. My home is here but I have been to many different places for my job." She said calmly. She had fallen in California, but not in this area. She had, for a short moment, the memories of the blood and bodies that were scattered all around the battle field, and she was just standing there, the only one left. A shiver ran down her spine when she remembered that and just shook it off. She was a bit surprised that Hunter had noticed but she just shook her head. "Just memories, here there is a lot of war and I have been in plenty of them." She sighed and shrugged.
"Oh." Hunter said to both of her replies. He started walking normally again, his cloak billowing in the wind as they walked. "I've never been in a war, but I have bad memories too..." He said sadly, remembering his father and how he had gotten his scar. His father had been in a meeting and had invited Hunter in. His father had said that he would eventually need to be included into the meetings, so why not sooner then later. They were plotting to raid a nearby village and use some Elven soldiers as decoys so they could get in, Hunter was disgusted with the idea and interrupted a general speaking. He was forced to duel for his outburst, but when he got to the ring he saw it was not the general he had to fight. It was his father.
