Hello, and welcome to this neck of the woods: an adventure/horror group rp based on old Creepypasta stories. I’m not sure how much traction this will get, since I haven’t done something like this on RPR before, but I’m eager to try. The premise is simple: your character is in lost in the woods, and can’t get out. Whether they band together with others to escape, strike out on their own, or decide to call the forest home is entirely up to them! The end goal for this is for it to be a plot-based game focused on character development and interactions.
Canon/fandom characters and OCs are all welcome! Magic is fine, though reality-breaking powers are discouraged. As far as technology goes, this is set in the early 2000s, but characters from any era are fine.

Your character finds themself in the woods. Maybe they were hiking and got lost, or maybe they just appeared. Either way, they’re in a forest that seems to go on forever.
In the middle of the woods is a mansion. Everyone lost in the woods finds their way to the mansion eventually. It has an endless supply of food, water, and other supplies. What it doesn’t have is a way to contact the outside world. Your character is stuck here, and has to decide - do they stay at the mansion, or do they strike out on their own?
If they’re in the woods alone, they have to be careful. There are monsters in the dark.

Magic is fairly common. Players and NPCs important to the tale may have it. Mistborn.
Modern
Combat is woven into the storyline and could come to the forefront if the characters seek it out.
Romance is desired but not required, and will balance evenly with other plot.
Details: Freeform, adjustable length posts, long-term RP partner preferred. Will be played with a large group of players.
