Red Faction Ships flew over to the energy build up, they sent a message to that build up "You have one minute to surrender or all five of are Titan Class Heavy Cruisers fire on your ship" The Captain of the Main Cruiser spoke

"Find this man, and find him now! He cannot be allowed to escape!" Commissar Jhark said, and slammed his fist on the table. He could see, on the 3D virtual map, the entire fight. He did not like what he saw. But he didn't know about the man's companions. Perhaps they died in the firefight? Hopefully they did. "Use deadly force if you have to!"
The first EDN satellite was put into orbit. Communications could finally be established for good. Then two more satellites were launched, one of the three was for communications, the others were for defense. All of EDN Empire's resources were now being focused on space travel.
Annoyed with how they were all focusing there attention on him Dreath activated an emergency teleport and went back to his ship. However it was too slow to prevent him taking damage and he was shot several times in the leg by the particle turret. Appearing back on his ship Dreath ordered the disarmament of the photon cannon. The cannon was then shut down and any hope of the humans locating the ship was gone as they only know were the ship was before. "Move us the the edge of this system and give me a comms channel to the leader of there fleet." Dreath ordered stabbing himself with another syringe and all but healing himself completely.

"Damn it!" Jenkins yelled when he saw the Man teleport "Its alright Jenkins we will get him some other time, Take me back to the outpost I plan on briefing the leader of this outpost" Jenkins took off to the outpost, Then Alec approached a solder "I wish to see the leader of this base to brief him on my encounter, Im a survivor of the hall attack, If not the only one"
The Mars Red Faction ships could not track Dreaths ship anymore. But they kept searching around the area just in case

"Dammit! We lost them, sir!" The captain shouted, and slammed his fists on the table. The gunners had relaxed, but the red alert was still going. The commissar paced around, trying to think of something... anything they could do. The invasion fleet was still there, though. Just not that ship.
"Go to Yellow Alert. Do a full scan of the area. If they're not there, the yellow alert goes to green." Commissar Jhark ordered, and looked out the viewing port. He hated being in the dark. It wasn't a good feeling, and he didn't want to report to the Reich Fuhrer that he lost an enemy ship. "I have to make a report."
"Sir, incoming transmission from unknown source." The Lieutenant reported, and the Commissar walked up to the screen. It was from Dreath, but he didn't know that. And he didn't even know where it was from at all. "Putting it on screen now."
"Who the hell are you?" Commissar Jhark asked.
*****
"Sir, EDN III has successfully launched their three satellites. I repeat, satellites are now online." The 1st Lieutenant said cheerfully, and the crew cheered with them. The captain smiled, looking over his shoulder at the Admiral, who nodded his head quietly. This small fleet was a scavaging fleet assigned to EDN III to pick up their Drop Pods that were left behind. Of course, more often than not, they helped the EDN Empire directly.
"Alright, set the Armistice down over there, and have her unload her cargo for them." The Admiral ordered, setting in coordinates for the Aircraft Carrier to land at. It wasn't a Heavy Aircraft Carrier, or even a Super Aircraft carrier. It was just standard 5km long Aircraft Carrier with no offensive weaponry save for her massive amount of fighters.
"Roger that," The captain of the AC said, and the huge ship began to enter the atmosphere, followed by two destroyers and six frigates, all with atmospheric operational abilities. That meant that they could essentially fly in the atmosphere. "Bringing her down now. Clear the landing area!"
And fifty huge powerful lights blared down onto their landing site, a flat surface that they could operate on. Anyone who saw the light knew it was time for them to leave, and leave fast, for if they got stuck, no one would save them.

Alec Mason walked into the HRA Base, Two Red Faction Pick-up trucks drove in to see what was wrong, They decided to stay in case whoever attacked would come back. Alec was walking around and saw someone who looked like a commanding officer "How bad is it?" Alec asked walking upto the Officer
"Not all that bad. Nothing we cannot fix. Good thing we're right next to a manufactorum, though. Otherwise we'd be a little screwed," The 1st Lieutenant said, holstering his gun. They expanded the barricades to the bunks and cafeteria, mostly because they had to keep everything closed. But still, even then, dozers began clearing away the rubble and sending it to be scrapped. "We'll be up and running in a week again."
EDN Forces were stationed all over the planet. Scientific bases were set deep underwater in the oceans. They had certain diving gear with thicker clothes, using the same nano-fiber thermal-energy based insulators as on the surface. However, the seawater could only get so cold, nowhere close to the surface. The fact that water took heat faster was the only thing balancing the heat consumption.
Mining operations were set across Mt. Shakleton and other mountains had reserves closer to the surface. Recent studies showed that something inside the crust of the planet was producing tons of thermal energies at a faster rate than they could mine. They didn't question what it was, they didn't want to ruin their perfect source.
All of the Scientific research was focused on Thermal Energy based space travel, something used in the past by NEVEC ships. They didn't have a reference this time.

Alec nodded "Some MRF Members are here to assist" Alec then turned to the Officer "These things that attacked us, Are not Human. They had Purple blood. I was able too kill one of them" He then handed the Officer the same Pistol the Girl was using "Study it till your heart contents"
The EDF Were interested in this unique energy output of this planet, So they sent a stealth ship. It had Reflective plating so it was invisible to all ship sensors, Buuuuuut if someone was to look outside they would see a Totally exposed vessel. They were scanning the planet and thinking of the best way to make first contact
" Commissar I am Dreath. One of the people who your men were shooting at before. I have contacted you to ask what you know about the purposed treaty we were sent here to sign?" Dreath asked over the com's system.
EDN III was a desolate planet, at first glance it was in no way habitable by anything. 90% of the surface was nothing but ice and mountains. In the past century, deserts, oceans, and jungles came up. Only because of humanity draining the thermal energy, causing strange global effects. Creatures with blood that teamed with constant moving energy lived here, Akrid. Thousands of species and millions of subspecies. The Akrid were immensely hostile, but some were tamable. The EDN Empire was using the blood of the Akrid as fuel, but strangely, it also filled the ground, TE Flows like lava were below the crust. Something was producing it underneath the ground, and the EDN Empire had no intent on doing anything but thanking it. Weekly, people would gather near the mines, thanking whatever was producing it. They named it "Nushi." Giver of life.
The type-7 shuttle entered the UCS Constantine's hanger bay it's impulse engines roaring momentarily before the smallcraft shifted to silent antigravs and hovered to in alcove at the bay's sides/
The United Coalition Starship Constantine was one of the many Praetor-class heavy cruisers currently commissioned in the Coalition Space Fleet. The vessel was a little below a mile in length, and two hundred feet in height. It's hull was painted in the Coalition's colors, white, blue, and black and at the front, the ship's name and regiestry number were painted in black.

The shuttles rear doorway hissed open, descended downwards, and Captain Terminus stepped out along with a security officer who dragged out the half-conscious Centaurion picked up on the planet.
Terminus' first officer had been waiting for the Captain. "Captain." He said while doing the Coalition salute, left arm crossed over the right breast.
"Commander Marshall. Let's get to the bridge."
The commander nodded and walked with the Captain to the lift. The pair entered and Terminus said in an authoritive voice. "Deck 1; Bridge." The lift beeped and the doors hissed shut and began rocketing up to the bridge.
"Tuarin's pissed, you know." Marshall said to break the silence.
Terminus chuckled. "Really?"
"Yes sir, didn't like the fact that you gave him the slip to go on the away mission."
"I suppose once I'm on the bridge, I'll be receiving a lecture on how protocol dictates that the Captain must stayed on board the ship, not going on dangerous away mission." Terminus imagined his new Tactical officer and Security Chief's reminding him of that regulation.
Lientanent Tuarin was a Tilion, a warrior race that valued honor and glory above anything else. They were also tended to follow guidelines and orders to the letter. Tuarin was brand new to the ship, having just been transferred from Starbse 673 a month ago to replace his old tactical officer, who coincidentally was also a Tilion.
The lift opened and revealed the bridge. Several officers were at various stations, performing tasks from as mundane as sensor re-calibrations to things as complicated as examining the local sun's neutrino emissions.
"You said Admiralty had some new orders?" The Captain said as he took his seat at the captain's chair in the center of the bridge.
"Yes sir. We are to set course for the E.D.N system. Apparently their populace has just began to reenter galactic society after being cut off a while back. We're suppose to rendezvous with the Fara'gul and Hudson and proceed to open diplomatic relations with them." Marshall said in a long-winded explanation.
"Alright. Set a course for E.D.N III, warp factor 8."

"Sir, other Empires besides the HRA are about to attempt diplomatic relations."
Silence.
"...Sir?"
Silence.
"Sir is your leg all right? Do you want me to check for re-opened wounds or-?"
"Which Empire attempted to purge us?"
"What sir?"
"What Empire started war against us back when we had the NEVEC satellite?"
"Xin'Ta'Faxi sir."
"Do you know if they are attempting to negotiate?"
"We don't know sir."
"Hopefully not. We don't need them now. It would be as if we were stranded here in the cold, the men in the warmth mocking us, before extending a hand, inviting us in from the cold."
"Nushi would not allow such a thing."
"Nushi helps those who help themselves. Nushi gives us life because we came here, whether or not it was in our choice, but we set up camp permanently, she helps us because we do not take from her. We keep her warm, and she gives up warmth. You know why we set up camp at the base of Mt. Shackleton, and no one else is to know. We keep her safe, and she keeps us warm."
"Nushi is causing the storms sir."
"I know that. Nushi is the host, and the Akrid are her white blood cells. And now she has new ones, ones with guns and ships and a mind of their own. Nushi breathes, and each breath causes a storm, giving a reason for the Akrid to protect her."
"I'm not here for a sermon sir."
"I know you're not. When they establish communications with us, we will invite their diplomats to the surface, and bring them in from the cold."
"You wish to appease the religious masses?"
"I wish to make an example of who we are. Whether or not it effects the followers of Nushi is no concern of mine."
"Nushi helps those who help themselves sir."
"Yes indeed."
Joe concluded the talk with his comms leader. He sat back in his chair, strapping on his prosthetic leg. It was not wise to wear it into his bed, his right leg felt better and not as damp without it on. Diplomatic relations should help prove they are a worthy part of the galaxy. If they knew of Nushi, Joe didn't care. As long as they didn't know how to get to Nushi.

Robbins had his feet on the console in front of him, just laying around, really. He was asleep, so he didn't notice any of what was going on outside. He didn't see a thing, nor did he hear anything. His beret was just idly leaning over his eyes, so as to restrict view, in a way. But he did feel the shake when they landed. In fact, he hit his head on the metal part of his chair and bolted awake, falling on the floor clumsily.
Good thing he was alone. Oh. Wait. He was on the bridge. But he wasn't the captain, no. Well, he was a captain. Just not the captain of this ship. For this mission, he and his team served as diplomats. Yay. He loved being a diplomat.
"Sir, we're here." The Captain of the ship said, chuckling when he saw him on the floor. Robbins just looked up at him and snarled, then jumped up, and fixed his uniform. "I didn't see anything, sir."
"No, you didn't. Alert EDN that I'm here on diplomatic relations. Then get my crew ready, unload the cargo, get an engineering team out to fix up their fortresses, and start the construction of the lab. If we do this right, Armistice will become a city as herself." Robbins said, and began to walk away, going to the armoury to get his coat, when something came up.
"Sir, a Frigate reports seeing an EDF ship, but not actually seeing it on the scanners..." The 1st Lieutenant said, hand to his ear. He was getting constant reports from a frigate that was just looking around. "Orders?"
"Those are the same ships that are planning to attack Mars, right?" Captain Robbins asked, stopping in his tracks and turning around. "If they are, order them to surrender."
"Yes sir." The Lieutenant said, and began broadcasting a signal on all frequencies and channels. "EDF Ship, you are ordered to surrender your vessel and prepare to be boarded. Repeat, you are ordered to surrender your vessel and prepare to be boarded. If you're even out there..."
*****
"Dreath... So that's who you are." Commissar Jhark said, walking around cooly, looking at him with a stern face, and not one of friendliness. "You want to talk about the peace treaty? Well, there was a peace treaty. But if you hadn't come in cloaked, guns online and ready to fire at our installation, teleported to our Outpost, broke into our Outpost, and proceeded to open fire on the outpost troops, you might've had one. But now? Now you can go screw yourself.
"This is the HRA Empire. More so, this is the SS. You don't mess with HRA, and by God, may He have mercy on you, you don't mess with the SS."

"Good. Send a party of soldiers to escort them here." Sam said. "Escort them to the dining hall. We will discuss things during dinner."
A squad of soldiers went towards the HRA ship, a single pack hunter that was leashed was being held by a guard with a pistol. It was calm and stayed near the center of the area. The squad waited for the diplomats to come out.

"We came here cloaked and armed as we go everywhere. We only did that to protect ourselves. Your people were the ones who opened fire first commissar and now you proceed to insult us after leading to the death of one of our members. I will give you the chance to listen to reason and go back to the treaty or your HRA empire will be at war with the voriarns." Dreath stated to the commissar.
In a massive flash of light, the Constantine dropped out of warp at the edge of the E.D.N system. Ahead of the ship were her two companion vessels, the UCS Hudson and the UCS Fara'gul.
The Hudson, the Constantine, was a Praetor-class Heavy Cruiser while the Fara'gul was a Dashka-type Deep Space Science vessel. The Fara'gul was currently carrying the majority of diplomats tasked with contacting the EDN Empire officials.
"Sir, the Fara'gul is hailing." The communications officer informed.
"Onscreen." Terminus ordered.
The view screen shifted from the starfield to the serene face of Ambassador Ayreye, a Vugan. Vugans, though not one of the Nine founders, were one of the most important species in Space Fleet. After applying for Coalition membership and being accepted, the Vugan had proven to be extremely adept at diplomacy due to their religious belief that any and all ideas should be respected, even if they conflicted with one's own. They were easily identify-able with their purple-tinge skin, pointed ears, silver eyes, and undeniable beauty.
"Ah, Captain Terminus. Your arrival is most appreciated." The ambassador said in her soft, melodic voice. Please allow Captain Darsk to join our channel."
Terminus only had to wait a few second before the face of the Ambassador moved to the left of the screen and the face of an aged Tilion took the right.
Captain Darsk surveyed the brigde for a moment and when his eyes landed on Lieutenant Taurin, the old captain slammed his fists together and bellowed "FOR HONOR AND GLORY!", a salute that Taurin gladly returned. The old Tilion turned his attention to Terminus. "Terminus! It gives me great honor to have finally met you. I have heard of your many glorious adventures throughout this sector."
Terminus nodded his head respectfully. "Thank you Darsk, I'm sure you've had your share of glorious adventures yourself."
Before the Tilion could reply, the Ambassador interrupted. "I am quite certain that the two of you will be able to exchange tales soon, but at the moment we have a mission at hand."
Both captain's sat straighter in their chair as the Vugan began. "From here, we are to set course for E.D.N III and enter planetary orbit. We will then ask the government to receive us and the three of us we head down with my diplomatic attache and we will begin negotiations. Understood?"
Both captains nodded and the Vugan muttered "Good" before closing the channel. The Tilion captain eyed the human and bared with teeth, a Tilion smile. "Tonight, we shall exchange stories of our honorable exploits while sampling what drink this EDN Empire has to offer. Captain Darsk out."
The science vessel began moving off, flanked by the two heavy cruisers, headed for E.D.N III

Several docking stations were open for the ships, guards standing by the door and escorts just inside. The guards had full EDN Armor, while the escorts had white and orange clothing, their heads open yet contained by the heat-containing suits they were wearing.
