I think I’d enjoy a Heart of Darkness remaster. It spooked me real good as a kid, and I’d love to see a remake which played more into the unintentional horror aspects of it.

The top-down GTAs on playstation would be absolutely grand, too.
Silent Hill, please.
Ico. I didn’t play it until after Shadow of the Colossus, but I fell in love. I’ll be ready to cry again if it is rereleased as a remaster.
Earthbound. I have fond memories of that game.
Banjo Tooie. I loved that game as a child and would buy the heck out of it if they remastered it.
Way of the Samurai 1 and 2. I'd also like to see 3 remastered as well with the JP only stuff added in lmao. In that vein, Shinobido and Tenchu as well.

I know that recently Resident Evil 4 was ported to VR and there is a supposed remake of the game following the remakes of Resident Evil 2 & 3. In all honesty I think Resident Evil 5 (made in 2009) will make for an interesting vr port as the game was the first in its series to offer Co-op play with the over-the-shoulder gameplay that RE4 implemented to change gaming for the better. Who wouldn't want to shoot zombies with a friend in VR or have to punch a boulder in VR? I would love to experience the game in a first-person perspective much like RE4 VR did.
The top three games I would love to see remastered are: My Sims Kingdom, LoZ Twilight Princess, and Red Dead Redemption

Honestly I just think bringing them to today’s platforms, and revamping graphics and mechanics for all of them would be amazing.

My Sims Kingdom was my favorite game ever as a kid, and I just really liked the concept of it and that era of the sims games (like the airplane one and agent my sims games) I just think it would be a blast.
I would love to see a remake of Parasite Eve and Galerians. Preferably an open rpg world for Galerians. I think that would be awesome given the elements the original game had. The Darkness is also another game I'd like to see revamp. Another is the Clock Tower series.

I saw someones comment about a Silent Hill remake. It's not so much they need a remake but I'd love for a new Silent Hill game made by the originals that made them. Silent Hill 1-3 were amazing. We need more spooky psychological horror games like them. Or at least give us PT!
Some of the older Resident Evil games could use a remake. I think Code Veronica would be great. It's a great game but boy the camera setting is the worse!
Legend of Dragoon, Drakengard, Valkyrie Profile, Chrono Cross, Phantasy Star, Arcus Odessy - Literally just any of the fun old fantasy games would be amazing if they were done again with modern technology.
Legend of Dragoon, Ape Escape, The Midnight Club series, Legacy of Kain, a few others but those are the ones I can think of at the moment

YES, I love Earthbound! But at least it can be played on the Switch, though it'd be nice if it was actually rereleased instead of just being available with Online.
I would like to see Pokemon Red, Blue and Yellow redone. I have played some of the others up to SoulSilver, I enjoyed those 3 the most. Simple and easy game to play. One day I will have all of them I hope!

I'm gunna throw System Shock 2 in the ring.

And yes... I know Nightdive are supposedly working on an enhanced edition, but considering that the prerequisite for it is releasing their remake of the original System Shock (which has been in development for an insane amount of time for a remake using a commercial game engine), I wouldn't be surprised if it ended up falling through.

You can get improved versions with widescreen support of both Banjo games on XBL actually. They even have QoL additions, like the first game remembers what you collected in the stage before and doesn't force you to go get it all again in one go.

Don't know if you can play them on PC through Windows Live though.
