Ember trotted through the woods, feeling the brightly colored leaves crunch under her feet. She stared at the trees that were half bear, and the sky that had a blue-grey tint to it. She sighed, adjusting her beanie that hid her ears, and tightened the large hoodie that hung around her waist, concealing her tail.While she trotted along she paused when she heard the ominous sounds of rustling in the bushes nearby. She took a few steps back and awaited what might come out when suddenly a small squirrel appeared out of the bushes and just as she let out a sigh a large bear jumped out and scared the color off her.

Chris was wondering around like he always did. He had his Steel hammer in his hand for protection, For you see Chris is wanted because it is believed his blood has the power too cure all disease. So with a death bounty on his head for 100.000 of what ever type of currency they wished they would kill him. And worst of all... He was wanted for the murder of some fifty people! He never did that! It was just an excuse so they could put a bounty on his head for his blood. He had a Brown cloak and hood on, when he heard a bear roar. he quickly ran too the sound and saw it about to attack someone! He did not care if it was a hitman or not. He swung his steel hammer with all his might at the bear too knock it back

Ember immediately regained her composure and got into a fighting stance. As the bear swiped at her, she quickly dodged and lunged at it, sinking her fangs into the bears skin. The metallic taste of blood mixed with fur filled her mouth as she clamped down on its furry neck. The bear roared in pain and thrashed around wildly in attempt to get her off.

Chris was slightly surprised too see this person biting a bear, but he quick took this moment and swung his hammer down, He was hoping too slam his hammer right into the bears skull

Out of the corner of her eye, Ember saw the hammer come towards her. She released her grip on the bear and jumped out of the way, grabbing on to one of the tree branches nearby and landing on the branch. She growled at the hammer wielding man viciously, assuming he was attacking her too.

Chris did not notice this, he just kept hitting the bear "HOW DOES IT FEEL? THAT WILL TEACH YOU TOO TRY AND EAT PEOPLE! IM GOING TO TRY AND EAT YOUR MOTHER! THEN LETS SEE HOW YOU LIKE IT!!!" he finally stopped and gasped for air, he was holding his side, was he hurt? Possibly, Or maybe just winded

Ember paused and wondered if this man was just plain insane, though she kept her distance, in fear that he was insane enough to kill her too. To make sure he didn't see her, she climbed the tree more and hid in what was left of the leaves and watched from a far.

Chris smiled "Now wheres the...uhh?" Chris realized that the person had left. "Oh did not even stop to say thank you! The nerve of some people!" He sighed and sat on a rock, The downside too having this special blood was that it impacted his thoughts and actions

"Hey!" Ember said, insulted from the comment. "I'll have you know that I ran away because I though you were absolutely bonkers!" She yelled at him, crawling down from the place from her tree, her mouth still covered in blood. When she reached one of the last branches she sat down and let her legs dangle. "And for your information, I thought you were coming at ME with that thing!" She huffed and crossed her arms and glared at him.
"But..." She sighed "I will thank you for finishing the job on that bear." She swung down and landed on her feet.

His eyes went wide "H-Hit you??? NO NO NO NO NO! NO! Never nu-uh nope nada! I would never attack someone for no reason! I was just worried you would have been thrown off and eaten" he finally stopped shaking his head and looked at her "SEMAN ISRHC" he said smiling, then looked slightly annoyed "Sorry, I mean" he cleared his throat "Names Chris" he said smiling

"Ember." She said while walking over to him and taking a seat next to him on the rock. She gave him a smile and looked at the leaves which proceeded to fall off the trees. "Well, thanks for that. So what brings you to this lovely neck of the woods?

"Oh what I do everyday, Run from guards who want too chain me up and harvest my miracle blood that heals all injures and illness for the rest of my life" he said with a smile. He said that WAY to calmly, He was unstable for sure

Ember gave him a look but shrugged it off, knowing that weirder things have happened. "I see" She hummed, bobbing her head from side to side, looking a little bored. She frowned when she tasted the blood in her mouth once again. "Do you know of any river that I could go to...?" She asked and wiped her mouth with the back of her hand.

"You drink river water? And people call ME Crazy" he said while having a big grin, he took out an iron bottle of water, "Here I got five of these and I have not used this one"

"Um, thanks" Ember said while she took it from his hand. She stared at it for a few seconds before opening it and taking a sip. Swishing the water in her mouth, she spit it out on the dirt. Instead of the clear liquid it had been before it entered her mouth, it was now a disturbing shade of red. She frowned and pulled out a handkerchief out of one of her hoodie pockets, soaking it with some of the water. With it, she cleaned the rest of the blood from her face. "That feels better." She mumbled to herself.

Chris looked at the ground "I dont think the dirt is thirsty..." he said pushing his knees upto his face. he then looked at her with a straight face, an odd sight for anyone who knew him "What are you doing here?"

"Huh? Well... its not like I have anywhere else to go..." Ember turned her face away from him, handing him back his water.

He looked at her "Why? Has something happend?" he asked frowning and taking back his bottle

Ember shook her head. "No, its just.... its always been like this. Its no big deal. I've survived this long, right?" Ember shrugged it off and started to fidget with one of the hoodie sleeves that dangled from her hips, not daring to look Chris in the eye.

He looked slightly shocked "Y-Your afraid of me arnt you? L-Look im harmless" he swung his arms and broke a branch right off a tree "Arg Ok Mostly Harmless I wont hurt you though! Its... Its just I have not talked to anyone who has not wanted too kill me or chain me up in awhile..." he sighed
