Just how bad is taking chaos powers???

it means when it goes off you get a random one

Not too bad. Usually it's pretty nice, but sometimes you baically crit yourself.

You will blow yourself up pretty routinely with chaos power. But you'll also randomly manifest all the other powers, and often you'll be able to channel it more powerfully, so you hit harder, dodge better, heal more, etc. Except for when you overshoot and just nuke yourself

Turning yourself inside out is a common issue with chaos

I've turned myself inside out, launched myself into the ceiling, turned my top into a copy of my bottom, laser-vision'd my foot off, punched myself super hard in the face, choked on bouncy-ball-breath...

The moment the two trainers opened up their doors I beelined to healing and have not looked back. Vanilla? Maybe. Super duper useful to stay in fights longer? Yes.

i kid you not. in 40k. a starship in warp travel if the shields fell coulod potentially turn into a giant wheel of cheese

Warp energies are quite unusual sometimes.

The only issue I have with the healing is that I tend to heal an get crit hard enough to baaaasically make the healing not matter.

I switched to heal for awhile, and may again (if this is still going in... 14 hours), but for now I've switched back to chaos.

if it is still going i'll swap back to heal

Bosses for sure tend to make all of the powers count much less
