*threatens Aalto with a trip to France*
now i'm really curious
Gasp! Such threats!
kim ya don't have to answer this. but does the food have to be cutely designed or is it good presentation that help0s to fix the problem?
i have autism so the neurobiology of it fascinates me
if i feel i understand it i feel i can answer it with a solution
It's a big mix of things. But cooking on a *theme* encourages me to try new things, it feels more like I'm doing an art project and it will have had worth in and of itself even if it turns out I can't eat it at the end? But it makes me feel like I can at least try
It raises my enthusiasm and resiliency for doing hard things
if i may a suggestion. final fantasy 15 has GORGEOUS presentation on food
And sometimes the chopping of things that are texture heavy into *very small shapes* makes them less offensive to chew. But it just looks like I'm making a cute bento box instead of being neurotic. It's almost like masking a stim
usually with fanciful lore fitting names
Star Trek themes have been some of the most motivating for me so far
also. i know the feeling. its why i paint terrain just making a little world is soothing
even if the themes tend towards dark places or war torn battlefields of a terrifying distant future
its the.,.. external observation
like i know exactly why each scorch marke, crater, bit of rubble, and bullet hole is there
That makes sense to me
the fact the local game store then pays me for this is just a bonus.. which is where most of them go
Okay, I need to stop diving the monster as soon as I have any hp.
Yeah, I'm thinking I may go do a bit of yoga then come back when my HP has gone back up again xD
