@Zelphyr I think I overcompensated that year. The previous year I had been served with a petition that we should stop fighting the boss and start helping it instead. So I was like, this year's BBEG needs to be so unpleasant, so unsympathetic, no one can wait to squash it.

Actually, with the mention of other continents in the plot this year, I'm really hoping our chances of getting more friends/allies goes up. Heck, even the first combat year, I kinda wanted to be able to tell the goblins, "Hey, chill out and we'll share!"

And yeah, this year I think the thing to stir the sentiments the most (other than adorable combat messages like that) was the CPPE. Axolotls are good...
