Yeah, some I must have just not been paying attention.
You can only receive them if there are weapons in orbit though, of course, so it's dependent on people actually playing Doubutt too 
I'd also be more easily oblivious to them if they were explosives, since Aalto sometimes gives me those, too.
Ah, it would turn out that flight powers are less than ideal in a mine.

Out of curiosity, there's nothing in the code to influence gaze drops according to current or impending needs, is there? Because I'm suddenly getting a lot of guns from that. (Well, as sudden as once in a half hour or so can be.)
Nope, gaze drops are 100% random.
