Ember chucked in reply. "I spy with my little eye..." She thought for a moment "...something white."
he looked around "I imagine the twinkle in your eyes dont count" he said jokingly, Then looked around "A Bunny?"
"Nope." Ember replied, looking around for the bunny that he was talking about.
He put a hand to his chin "hmmm..." He put his finger up in the air "I KNOW!" He turned around to face her "Clouds!"
Ember smiled and nodded, her arms crossed. "Correct."
He smiled "I spy with my little eye... something that is...HOT!" he jumped away and saw the grass infront of them was scorched "We cant be there yet... Why is the grass hot and burnt?" He then knelt down to get a closer look
Ember hurried over and leaned over his shoulder to get a look at it. "Huh... thats odd." She said, looking around. "It looks link theres been a fire."
Chris looked around "How though? Its has not been hot out for several weeks! And this fire seems to have been started recently..." He kept looking around but found nothing "hmm... Oh well we should get going" He said continuing to walk
Ember stared at him for a moment, wondering how he could not be worried about this. She sighed when she remembered who she was dealing with and walked on with, becoming cautious and alert to her surroundings.
He started skipping along again, Only this time backwards so he could face Ember "Does your kind have any kings or queens?" he asked with a cheerful smile
"I don't... think so." Ember scratched her head, her eyes darting from side to side to look for anything unusual. "Like I said, I don't know a lot about my heritage."
Chris noticed her behavior "Look I can assure you NO ONE is coming to get us!" he said looking around as if to show her There was nothing there "We are almost there so don't worry" He said smiling, though how he would know that walking backwards was strange, Well so was he
Ember could only sigh. "I hope your right." She mumbled, her ear twitching nervously.
"Don't worry! Im right over 100% of almost time...Er... English Is my first language... THOUGH no one could tell" He said rubbing the back of his head embarrassed "But yes despite my broken English the voices in my head say that we will be save! And we can always trust them! They only lie to me 90% of the time so I can totally trust them!" He said with a big smile and kept walking
"Then I really hope the 10% doesn't apply in the situation." Was all she could say in reply.
"...So you want the bad 90% to apply? you got weird motives" He said with a puzzled look and kept going
(Sorry, I read the post wrong I was in a rush)
((Nah, I'll just go along ))
Ember looked up at him with a frown. "I don't know what the voices definition of 'safe' is." She said with a sigh. "Bad could mean good for all we know."
Ember looked up at him with a frown. "I don't know what the voices definition of 'safe' is." She said with a sigh. "Bad could mean good for all we know."
"trust me, When they lie they are telling the truth about that lie!... Unless they are lying about lying in which case they would be telling the truth..." He turned and saw a rock, it was red hot and melting "...Still no where near that volcano" He said putting a hand to his chin with a puzzled look
Ember gripped her now pounding head. "Don't you think we should... I don't know... turn in the opposite direction of all the melting and burning things?"
