She looked back up at Ronan.She ran off again.

He watched her leave but didn't say anything. She was still wild. HE sighed and started walking down the path.

She wasent technically wild.But he didn't know that.She'd probably meet him later.

Later that day, Ronan was at the base of the mountains. He had gotten pretty far by himself and his thoughts. He looked up the steep slope and looked at the sky. It was getting dark so he put his pack down and made a fire.

By the time he got the fire started and all.He could begin to hear a rustle in the bushes.

Ronan looked up and grabbed his sword, holding it close.

A small spot of white could he seen, it was the wolf again.Her eyes made there way to the sword.She backed away into the bushes a little, again.

Ronan blinked." Oh." He quickly put away the sword." Sorry, I didn't know it was you."

The wolf hid in the bushes.Despite the fact he had put the sword away.

Ronan held up his empty hands." Look, I'm unarmed." He even moved away from it so it was out of his reach.

Her eyes made there way to the sword, then to Ronan.Slowly stepping out of the bushes again.Completely.

Ronan smiled." I didn't expect to meet you again."

Both of her parents were out of town, and her little brother was spending the night with a friend, so it wasent like she had much to do.The wolf looked at Ronan before approaching him a little.

Ronan blinked and reached out a hand for her to sniff." It's strange for a wolf to hand around humans."

She sniffed his hand a little, before giving it a small lick, then quit.This would be the last time ye saw the wolf for awhile.At least in wolf form.

Ronan tilted his head but smiled." At least you trust me now."

The wolf looked up at Ronan, then looked away.
