Terran Outer Colony Artemis - 551 is under siege by the Galactic Nero Empire, (GNE), a warmongering empire of Nerolites, ant like humanoids that work in infested spaceships called "Hives". The colony now asks for nearby space bearers and adventurers to help defend it's 5 million populace. Half of the planet, covered in small towns, has been infected by The Shadow's darkness, which still spreads. The other half is under siege by the GNE and is currently being bombarded! Do you dare aid the colonies against the GNE and The Shadow? Or do you aid the GNE for great wealth and fortune? You decide...

The Shadow moved along the streets as citizens screamed in agony as either they or friends were shot down by the GNE stormtroopers around the city of Hades. A small group of police put up a little firefight, taking down a squad of GNE only to be bombarded by heavy artillery and incinerated through plasma... The only way in or out of the Colony planet was the Hermes Space Station, HSS, that was currently under fire by a GNE fleet. The only open hyperspace dock was in HSS, therefore making it a valuable point to hold...

Other than the HSS the Verlo Moon Mines were the next key checkpoint, holding a vast supply of fuel and minerals for the colonists down below... If it were taken then the colonists would not have access to the resources they needed to win the war, yet the GNE fleet could not take it was most of the colonial forces have stationed themselves there in Fort Hayward... Down below the only real checkpoint was the capital city of Hades, which was being invaded by the GNE at the moment, along with the Shadow...

The GNE invaded Hades heavily, reinforcements came and massacred all of the citizens, killing off all of the resistance and authorities like they were bugs... After that Hades was glassed, and there was little hope for Outer Colony Artemis - 551.

The GNE now set their sights on HSS, and they began hammering them full force, blowing up the life support systems. The HSS was now slowly losing oxygen and all food and water were disintegrated in the heavy plasma hammerings... No people had come to help the Colony, and now all that remained were a few towns and the Verlo Moon Mines along with Fort Hayward...
