Genorvo is an Elf...An Elf with magical powers. Its the modern world with cellphones and social media so it's less likely for humans to believe in magic..not that they can see magical creatures anyways. Humans can't see them unless they give permission.

You were able to see the Elf child with ease without them allowing you to. Genorvo was interested in Y\C but that didn't stop them from being cold hearted.
When danger comes, could Genorvo warm up to you? A human? Could they be willing to help you give you powers?

Mundane? What's that? Magic permeates every part of the setting. Almost everyone has access to strong magic.
Modern
More combat than not. The setting may be at war, and the characters will likely get involved whether or not they seek it out.
Romance is required, but may take some time to develop. For example: slow burn RPs.
Details: Occasional dice use, adjustable length posts, long-term RP partner preferred. Will be played one-on-one.
