Harriette "Harry" Hawthorne is a former ex-detective who seeks to find the spark she once had in law. She is an alcoholic, divorcee and the sole employee of her investigation firm. She is willing to take on most cases and her doors are always open!
The setting is a modern one. This RP would involve y/c coming to Harry with a case they have. Whether it be mundane or severe, Harriett will look over the case and determine if she will take the case or not. You as the player will need to come with a prompt (the case) and present it and we can discuss if you would like the story to go a certain or if you would like me to have full rein. I am open to both!

On very, very, rare occasions there may be unexplained, POSSIBLY supernatural events. Minor "environmental" magic. Perhaps implies the existence of a deity or supernatural entity. Or perhaps it's just tricks?

Unrest may be part of the setting, but any scenes that happen to involve combat may be summarized.
Romance is slightly desired, but the overall plot is more important.
