Can you (developers) make an app for this? This website is so amazing! And since I'm active during the day, I don't use my desktop a lot.

Reasons:
1-Notifications; not just e-mail
2-On the go use (not having to go to safari to check if there's anything new)
3-I roleplay a lot. For me it would be easier.

Apps are a popular suggestion, but simply put there's no funding to build or maintain even one platform's app, unfortunately. Kim maintains and upgrades the site all by herself (meaning there's nobody else to code anything) so there are no developers to take on this kind of project. They'd have to be hired, and that's stupidly expensive.

She recently upgraded the site to be friendly for mobile devices, which was a big step forward - I think push notifications are a luxury that most people find annoying anyway as almost every app uses them and I know I turn them off for everything. I think the current mobile version already is convenient on the go and suitable for frequent roleplayers. How would an app make a difference, besides push notifications?

I would actually use the heck out of push notifications. But yeah, hi, I'm Kim, I'm the one site developer. I put in close to full time hours maintaining and developing the Web version of the site for no pay, or some months just enough pay for a few pizzas on late nights, because this site is my baby and I love it. (don't worry, I have a full time day job elsewhere as well so I am not in any danger from this arrangement)

I do not currently have the time/resources to develop appps for the various platforms out there. Instead, I am trying hard to update the website to responsively resize for mobile screens.
