Destiny is a double-edged sword. You are one edge. What unknown lies on the other side? Death, glory, scandal, fame, fear, love, or perhaps lust? Choose your destiny or let yourself be taken by the wind. Either way there is an unforgettable story to tell within the lands of Temeria. Be a monster hunting witcher or perhaps chase your destiny as an illustrious sorceress of the Coven fighting against those who would label you a witch and burn you at the stake. Or perhaps you are part of the Scoia'tel, a group of radical nonhumans who want to claim the rights and respect taken from them through the blood of humans. Maybe you are a monster yourself, running from the blood soaked silver sword of the witchers...

Immerse yourself in tales of Temeria and join the fun as a witcher of one of the 5 schools, a sorceress/sorcerer, an elf, a dwarf or any form of beast, whether it be striga, vampire, or anything you wish, as long as it's lore-friendly.


I just wanted to start a Roleplay based around the Witcher franchise. I've been in love with this series ever since I was little, so I know a bit of the lore... But anything I don't know I'd be willing to search up, so we can keep it lore-friendly. I'm not specifically looking for people who really know the series (but if you do you're welcome to join!). In fact, if you're interested and this is the first time you've heard of it, it'd be fun to have you!

1. Play as a witcher from one of the 5 schools and hunt down monsters.

2. Perhaps play as a monster yourself. Maybe a vampire, demon, werewolf, dragon, etc.

3. Be a sorceress/sorcerer and play in the wonderful game of intrigue for court politics. Or maybe you run from those who would label you a heretic.



4. Nonhumans such as elves and dwarves all exist in the Witcher, each with their own story to tell.

5. Be a healer traveling the roads in search of those who would seek your help.



6. Are you a just monarch? Or a power hungry tyrant?

7. Maybe you are the victim of a curse or the source of a prophecy.



8. Or a humble bard. Spreading merriment and reuniting all of different races.

9. Or an assassin furthering the divide between nations and ushering rebellions.

10. The possibilities are endless...

I'd totally be interested in this, but is it required that we must be familiar with the series? Or is it something one can learn?

Nope, just know maybe read a series summary (mainly just the purpose of witchers) and you should be good. Plus you can ask me any questions; I'd be happy to answer.

I'm new here (but not new to RP). I've only played the first Witcher game, but I've read all the books. Any issues there?

This sounds like fun! I've always liked the more folklore oriented folks in the series - druids, folk healers, villagers with some knowledge of creatures, etc.

I'm new here too. Welcome! I'm glad you liked the idea, that kind of folklore-y vibe is what I was going for originally. Though I think I got too excited and went overboard .

And to answer your question, yea more than enough. I was expecting to probably be the only one who really knew much of the series, so you're definitely good.

Mind if I throw Pint in 'ere? He's a dwarf character that should fit the Witcher setting quite well.

Could i possibility join with Alvar? I could make her a child monster, a servant like what her bio says, or someone's kid (if you're okay with a young kid in it)

This sounds like a lot of fun! I've not got a very deep understanding of the series (mostly just watching the show and occasionally watching friends play). Since I'm only just returning to RPR, I don't have any premade characters ready to adapt, however I think a healer might be nice to try? Feel free to message me (and anyone else you loop into the narrative! I'd be happy to set up threads between different players in the same game.)

Lemme know what your thoughts are for who you want to play. I'll do some research into what I can expect from doing the healy thing.
