Howdy y'all. I have a great idea for a realistic fantasy set back in the 1960's. When I say realistic fantasy, I mean supernatural creatures hidden in the real world. The setting would be a small farm town out in norther oklahoma, during the late spring plating season. My character, of course, is a werewolf. Though most don't know it, as most supernaturals keep their true identities hidden. He's basically the classic farmhand, with that classic country politeness. Now characters can be of any race, as long as they look human, or can make themselves look human. If you character is a resident of the town, a visitor, or someone just moving it, it doesn't matter. With the war in Vietnam, and all the race wars going about. Will this little tranquil town stay the same? Will the dark secrets of the people in it stay hidden?

Awesome! feel fee. Though if you want your character to be a veteran, they would have to have been discharged for some reason. This is during the war.

I can definitely find a reason for him to have been discharged early, no sweat!
