It was set to be a lavish affair, the celebration for the coming-of-age of the princess. The island-country of Kyō was rich, a great kingdom that thrived off of the various sea creatures that inhabited the oceans around the island, and the many nobles who came to visit the island for its beautiful waters and calming atmosphere. And with its princess finally able to wed, a great ball would be thrown, in hopes of attracting possible suitors from even richer lands than its own.
This is where the story begins.
As a pirate captain, you find that events such as these, where the drink flows freely and spirits are high, make fantastic and easily successful thefts. And your eyes have set their sights on the Crown Jewels of the royal family, which will be on full display at the event. Sneaking in disguised as nobles, you dance your way through the night, but just as your plan is set to move into action, The Royal guards arrive, and accuse you of already having stolen the family treasures!
After escaping, practically treasureless at that, you return to your ship and just as things begin to calm down, you discover a stowaway on board, and— hadnt you danced with this woman the night before?!
With the thief of the jewels aboard your ship, and the navy (as well as various other pirates) hot on your tail, the woman claims her identity as a pirate captain herself, and proposes a deal. Help her find the infamous Blackbeard, and she’ll give your the Crown Jewels, as well as a pardon signed by the princess of the island (how she had obtained this, the woman would not say). But will it be so simple as dropping off the young captain? And what of the various navy ships, bounty hunters, sailors and pirates on your tail; all the while, a much more menacing force stirs in the ocean, not forgotten, but certainly underestimated. And he seems to be closing in on your location...

I had originally proposed this as a 1 on 1 RP, however I can see this becoming an interesting group RP with enough talented players.
Looking for a player willing to be the opposing pirate captain who’s ship Tyr sneaks on. Various others could include bounty hunters, members of the Royal Navy, other pirates, or even civilians caught in the crossfire. If you’ve got any questions or suggestions, I’d love to talk it out, so don’t hesitate to ask/comment.

Magic is fairly common. Players and NPCs important to the tale may have it. Mistborn.

More combat than not. The setting may be at war, and the characters will likely get involved whether or not they seek it out.

I would like to offer my services as a soldier to the Royal Navy, be it as a spy aboard the ship or some other reason to be onboard the ship
A spy would be fantastic! Tyr is always recruiting new members, it’d be reasonable for her to pick up some new crew members on the island.

Why style rp are you guys interesting in? I know multiple ppl have already respinded but this looks really cool. I would be interested in whatever role we could come up with. Need any more players?

Most of the RPs I do are high volume, literate RP. Good paragraphs and grammar and plenty of action.
As for what role you could fit in, I’m not entirely sure what else we need, so what’re you thinking? Any characters you have currently that would fit in? Bounty hunters, nobles, pirates, mercenaries?
May I be the opposing captain if you don't have one already? Katsumi can be arranged to be a normal human in this rp. She could also be just a crew member if you already have an opposing captain
