A deep growl is heard echoing through the tunnels, everyone stops what they’re doing and turns to look, as flames emerge from the darkness.
Adventurer: What is it?
The Balrog emerges from the fire and roars.
Hero: Warriors, stand ready! We have to protect those rebuilding the Obelisk so it doesn’t come back to life after we defeat it!
The characters draw their weapons and form a defensive line.
Princess: It shall not pass! And this time, no one takes it on solo to get all the XP!
She glances at a Gandalf looking character nearby as she says that last part.
A massive beast of shadow and flame has emerged from the darkness of the underground kingdom! With luck, we'll be able to defeat it down here, before it climbs out and threatens the world above. But will it STAY defeated?Can you help defeat the balrog?

There are ways to do this, one can get help from giant spiders...or a great wizard can come up with an ingenious device he has invented, kind of coffin-shaped device that sucks the darkness and flames of the Balrog thus weakening it greatly, leaving it vulnerable...
