Last year was totally awesome. But this year is going to be even better. Hold on to your hats.
Things to look forward to this year
- We'll be getting a new logo. A real one this time!
- A second anniversary celebration (April 24th) so epic and ambitious I started working on it last month. You won't believe it when you see it!
- Groups moving out of alpha
- The ability to have more than five pages on your character profiles, and new nested navigation that will allow for drop-down menus
- New templates to go with more pages. Once the navigation UI is together, it will unblock production on the most popular template requests. I did 34 templates last year. I'd like to do over 50 this year.
- Nerdidays, nerdidays and more nerdidays
- Exciting contests
- More stellar animated shorts from darth_angelus. I've gotten a sneak peak of what he's got in the works, and all I can say is whoa
- A whole lot of other stuff
- A whole lot of surprises!
The results of Kudopocalypse
And how's this for a positive note to start the year on: Last week, about 430 kudos had been given. I challenged you all to spread some love around and make it 500 before January 1st. Your actual total at midnight? 738.
My new year's resolution
My personal new year's resolution this year is to remember to take breaks from programming to actually RP with you guys! What's yours?

As awesome as all the New Stuff and events will be, they'll mostly be awesome because of you guys. Thanks for your kind words everyone!
@Minkja: The LOTR trilogy are some of my favorite books on the planet. They are absolutely lovely. I can't wait to be able to chat about them with you! What a great resolution.
@Iokua: Fear not! As much as I love awesome stuff for the sake of awesome, my #1 commitment is to always try and make things easier and easier to use. If it gets so overwhelming you don't want to play anymore, I've done something very wrong and you should bop me so I can work on making it easier again!

My soul no longer belongs to Batman. It belongs to RPR.

2012 is going to be very exciting for RPR
Sometimes I think the awesomeness might be too much for us to take, but then I think "Naaaaah!"
It's going to be great.
It's going to be great.
Yeaaah. I knew 2012 gonna be interesting for a whole bunch of stuff. This time I'm gonna be there for the ride~
That sounds exciting! Can't wait to see everything happen.
I plan to read The Lord of the Rings. My father used to read The Hobbit to me, and I re-read it recently, so I figured what the heck. x3 That's just the first new year's resolution I can think of right now.
Also, happy new year!
