Another Smattering of QOL Updates

  • It looks like Imgur is taking some actions to make it harder to hot link to images hosted there, and that has resulted in imgur image links not being saveable when creating or editing custom character styles. To try and encourage folks to bring their assets on home to the RPR to avoid stuff like this, I went ahead and raised the asset limit that can be saved with a custom character style from 5 to 10.
  • Group basic appearance options can now be exported/imported. This is useful if you often reuse the same setup for different groups, or if you want to share your group options with a friend.

  • Various changes to journal widgets
    • New option: You can now choose to display journal entries from oldest to newest, or newest to oldest.
    • Editing a journal entry will now take you back to the edit page where the journal widget is, rather than back to the editing page for that specific journal entry
    • Dates for journal entries now show in editing view without you having to open each entry individually to check the date.

I don't know if it's helpful but personally I put most of my images through Discord (I send them to myself in a private server) and there they will be permanently so the link will never break. Just thought I'd mention it incase it would be helpful for anyone with imgur images needing to relocate their pictures! Gifs should work, too

I have been dying for that journal edit feature for years! Amazing work! And I should probably begin the process of importing assets for my... many... old styles. (Dragging my feet on this one tbh)

And boo on Imgur. I have so many pictures there I use to link to character profiles, I noticed some of them aren't displaying anymore. :(
