IT'S ALMOST TIME! I'M SO EXCITED TO SHARE ALL THE PRETTY THINGS WE'VE CREATED FOR YOU!The Digital Lemonade Stand will open on July 15th, and run through August. I'm aiming to raise a minimum of 10k during that time to get at least a few months of devoted focus time for maps and avatars.
We have a wide range of digital beverages prepared for you - everything from boba tea to caffeinated delights to fancy umbrella drinks.The beautiful part of this fundraiser format is that as you contribute by grabbing these drinks, you are immediately getting RPR collector's items that will make your profile the envy of all who peep your display case. It's like built in backer rewards. Even so, I've got some additional rewards on deck to thank everyone who is able to support this endeavor.
This time around, most of the rewards relate to maps and avatars themselves, and will allow backers to request specific avatar accessories and outfits, or props for maps that will be included in our official library of parts for all to use. And for funsies, there's also some absolutely ADORABLE stickers featuring RPR pets that I am personally going to be sticking everywhere.
I've been asked many times whether the collectors' items from 2019's bake sale fundraiser may make a reappearance, and I have great news for those of you who are looking to complete your RPR item collections. A little ways into the fundraiser, we will start holding some limited sales of all of the bake sale items - including the phoenix.Speaking of the phoenix, there's been a lot of curiosity about whether this fundraiser will have a pet type of its own. It's a great question, and a great idea. A new pet could really make a splash, couldn't it? For this one, I guess you'll just have to see what swims our way during the fundraiser!
