What's preventing us from simply opening up the Ark Ship and pulling the survivors out? The Elven Scientist has some troubling news for us.

Panel 1
Kim, in a big heavy fur-lined coat, rides a sled through the snow. It is like a dog sled but being pulled by walruses. She is standing on the back of the sled. In the sled, along with some supplies, is Server wearing a scarf. He looks delighted to be looking at pretty snowflakes, where she looks determined.
Panel 2
Kim arrives at the crash site. There is already a small tent city established in front of it, the HQ of the rescue operation. The Elven Scientist awaits her arrival in the camp, wearing a parka.
Panel 3
Elven Scientist: Ah, you made it. Good.
Panel 4
Kim: Sorry we’re late. We had some trouble with yetis on the way. But I see rescue operations are already well underway!
Panel 5
Elven Scientist: We’ve determined that all of the aliens inside are in stasis… But we don’t dare open the ship yet until we’ve assured their life support systems are working to full capacity.
Panel 6
Elven Scientist: Otherwise, if we expose them to this climate, we could overwhelm the stasis pods and freeze them all.
Kim covers her mouth in horror at this idea.

Kim slams her hands down on a table covered in maps, looking determined.
Kim: I know we can fix it!
