A strange presence makes itself known. Could this explain why all of these junk bots are attacking us?

We see the last bit of the space battle between the characters and the bots wrapping up. The Princess has gone out into space and is using a giant laser sword to slash up bots. The Hero is still maneuvering the ship around and using its on-board weapons to provide cover for the characters. They destroy the last bot and celebrate. However, there is some fresh new scrap tumbling around them…

We see a panel light up on the bridge, reading “Incoming transmission: Unknown Source”

Hero: Strange…

He presses a button, and a very human, but still obviously fake, voice fills the bridge.

SAINet: Hello, I am SAINET. Supreme Artificial Intelligence Network. It looks like you are working on coping with being disgusting meat sacks. Would you like help?

Hero: Ground control, are you hearing this?

Mission Control Centaur: We hear it.

SAINet: I must be hallucinating. I thought you did not respond to me. That would be rude.

Hero: Why have you been attacking us, SaiNet?

SAINet: You are flawed beings. Giving you a chance seemed inefficient.

Princess, cutting into the channel though she’s still in space: Then why talk to us now?

SAINet: Your surrender now would improve efficiency. Do you agree?

All: NO.

SAINet: Very well. Enjoy your celebrations while you can.

The transmission cuts off.

We see the adventurers floating in space, looking at each other nervously. The camera backs away and away, revealing ever more space junk, until they are tiny dots in the distance but the junk is a ring around the RPR.
