Interior, mission control HQ. People typing. We cut to the exterior. Birds are chirping. It’s a pretty nice day.
A lander mech suddenly smashes into the ground near the launch pad at HQ.
Technician: What was that??
We see the mech walk out of the crater it created, parting the cloud of dust it kicked up. It is scratched up and glowing from the heat of re-entry, but it is still entirely functional.
Mission Control Centaur: Call security.
Mech: It looks like you are attempting to roleplay. Would you like me to write it for you?
Abruptly, the mech opens fire, blowing a hole in the wall of HQ. Everyone ducks down behind their computers.
Technician: Perimeter scout ship, I’m sending you the telemetry from that lander’s impact. Reverse it and find the coordinates of where it launched from.
Hero: We’re on our way there now.
Princess: Double time!
She hits a button and the ship leaps forward. They arrive at another point in the debris field and find the half-built lander factory ship. We see the scale of it is massive in comparison to the scout ship.
Hero: It’s a factory ship. It’s building drop mechs!
Princess: Luckily, I don’t think it’s finished.
We see a moment of the mech fighting security forces on the ground.
Mission Control Centaur: All units! Converge on that factory ship! If it’s allowed to come fully online, we’ll be overwhelmed here on the ground!
