Wow, what a crazy 24 hours it's been since those pesky goblins starting arriving through the portals to crash our party!Much progress has been made to close the portals and cut the goblins off -- 8/10 seals have been activated on the Fantasy portal, and 1/10 on the Scifi portal. But the goblins have taken notice of our efforts and it seems they are willing to do anything it takes to stop us.
Luckily, we've also gained some unlikely allies! The mythical Doubutt has been working hard to get weaponry into the hands of those on the front lines, with your help of course. As of this writing, 111 weapons have been put into the hands of front liners through your efforts in Forohfor keep! And I hear whispers that a great spell is being worked to increase the number of weapons that each win of the Doubutt game creates...
Yesterday saw some incredible battles. I was involved in one where the warrior team managed to clear a path to the portals with less than 60 seconds to spare before the next wave spawned! But it was enough time for the riddle team, who had been standing by in chat, to run to the portals and test multiple theories in that brief window.
I have never seen anything like it! It was a hugely coordinated strike, with members carefully focusing fire all on the same monster per round. People were calling in friends. They were sending party hats of healing to each other to keep able warriors in the fray. As people ran out of stamina or HP but still had active weapons, they would toss them to anyone who was still standing to keep the fight going. The community pulled together in the most incredible ways to get it done just in time. It was like the series finale of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, where all the new slayers were throwing the mythical axe to one another.
Battles like these will have to be our norm as we proceed. The monsters are getting tougher, resisting more and more damage when attacked with the wrong weapon, and starting with more and more HP! This means that the number of times that we can get the riddle crew to the portals will be smaller, so they will have to take full advantage of every chance -- and the warrior team will need to unlock the secret of the goblin's weaknesses, and time their strikes to when it can do the most good for the portal team. And of course, team Doubutt will play a critical role in arming us!

It's part of the special event for our anniversary. It's a clue to where one of the seal guardians is hiding. There's a thread devoted to finding them and unlocking their riddles.
whoops sorry ........I hear that one of the guardians is a fan of trickery and mischief. Perhaps it will be near a namesake of the god of mischief?
