Last month I challenged the community to create a "fandom stamp" -- a tiny piece of art that can be placed on any profile, to show off your pride at being a member of the RP Repository.This was no easy task! Fitting the full name "RP Repository" into such a tiny space, making it look appealing, and finding a way to make the itty bitty graphics reflect the spirit of the site all at once? That takes a whole lot of skill and planning!
Our first place winner is Heimdall, who rose to the challenge with panache. Heimdall managed to combine our brand colors, one genre mascot image, a snippet of our logo, our full name AND a short description of why they are proud to be a member, all in the space of 93 x 43 pixels, and still make it look clean, polished and well-organized? Dayum.
In second place, Toreth, with an ultra-minimalist interpretation of the challenge. The end result is a clean and elegantly designed stamp that does the job of advertising your membership at the RPR with not a single excess pixel.
Sanne took third place with a another animated stamp; she managed to combine a great number of the RP Repository genre mascots and site artwork with her favorite reasons to be a member, using the site's own parchment texture as a backdrop.
Our final winner is Kitom, who took a similar concept and went in the direction of a direct appeal advertisement rather than just a fandom pride stamp -- which is super cool if you are trying to get your friends to join up too.
