Add someone new to an in-progress PM conversation

GUESS WHAT? You can now add a new person to an already in-progress private message conversation.

I know, I know, it had been so many years since I said I would add this that you'd given up on it ever actually happening. So... SURPRISE!

As many of you will recall, the hold up was because the first word in private messages is private. If you're talking to a trusted friend in confidence, you would not want to discover someone else was granted access to that conversation weeks or months later. Ouch. So I wanted to be sure that however new folks were added to a PM conversation, every single participant in that conversation had a chance to clearly understand who was being added, what that would mean, and to give their consent before anything could happen.

Here's how it works:

If you're on desktop: Look in the sidebar, under the list of PM conversation participants. If you're on mobile: Look beneath the reply textarea. You'll see a link that says " Add someone" Click it!
Start typing the name of the user or character that you want to add. When you see the correct person get pulled up, click their name.
You'll be asked to confirm that you want to add that person.
A vote will then be initiated inside of that private message conversation.
- Even if you initiated the vote yourself, you still have to cast a vote. This is to offer you one last chance to change your mind, or correct a miss-click.
- Voting is confidential, though if there are only two of you in a conversation, your friend may be able to guess what your vote was.
- You cannot vote "yes" on someone you've blocked.
- Every single user who is participating will have to agree that they want this new person added. If there are any no votes, the request to add the new person is immediately denied.
If you do get unanimous agreement from all members of your private message conversation to add someone new, Server will make an announcement in your conversation at the moment the new person is added. Server will even use the new OOC parenthesis to make this announcement in case you are adding someone to a RP!
The new person is then a full member of the conversation, and will also take part in any future voting.
If you get added to a PM conversation you don't want to be in, remember that you can always leave by clicking the next to your name in the list of conversation participants.

In other news, a couple of weeks ago, I asked on Facebook and Twitter what the one thing people would change about RPR would be if they could:

To my surprise, one of the most requested things was being able to preview guestbook comments before sending them. As you might have noticed, a little update was slipped out last week in response: The BBCode bar, including the preview button, has been added to guestbook replies, to make formatting and double-checking your guestbook comments easier.

Of course, other updates are (as always) on the way.

Your feedback matters to me, whether it's on the suggestions forum, on Facebook, in my inbox, etc. I spend as much of my time improving the RPR as I physically can, and I want to make sure that the things I'm working on will truly benefit the community.
