The mod team is ready to grow once again! We're not just looking to replace the mod who just retired, we'd like to add several new faces to the team to help keep up with the demands of our growing site. If you've ever wanted to volunteer to help keep the RPR community an open, welcoming, safe space for all members, now is your chance!If you're 18 or older, apply here: RPR Moderator Application 2019
Applications will be accepted until July 1st, so please don't rush through the application process. Give yourself time to really think about your answers and fill all questions out completely and honestly.
The first round of application review will occur with your username(s) removed -- if you make it through the first round of review, we will only then consider your record of conduct with the site. We may also ask some follow up questions, or request clarifications.

@floatch - typically through RPR first, unless you've told us why that's not the best way.
Just sent in an application! Will we be contacted via RPR or through the email we filled the form out with if we are selected?
ALRIGHT it sent that time! And good luck as well
@Kim Thanks! I'll fill it out again then, maybe copy-paste my answers to notepad so I don't lose them. Thanks again for answering!
Well, I sent mine in! I can't wait to see who will be chosen!
@MadRatBird - I just looked and I don't see one from you!
I sent mine in, though when I hit 'next' on the final page, it sent me back to the first page. Is this all right or should I fill it out again?
@Dinah_Rose - your username will be removed from the *application* before we review it to prevent any preconceived biases. Your actual account will be untouched.
I think I'm just over thinking things as it's very late but it says that during the process our username will be removed will we still have access to our current rps to continue them or characters?
Lowkey upset that I'm not above the age of 18 but oh well good luck
Good luck everyone!
@CrimsonKnight - Time commitments vary wildly; most mods go through phases of high involvement, and then lesser involvement when life is very busy. Ideally you'd still put in about 15 minutes a few times a week to at least help stay on top of the review queues even when life is on the busy side.
The most basic duties involve checking all icons and character images uploaded to the site to make sure they are properly tagged, reviewing kudos, responding to reported problems on the forums or elsewhere, that sort of thing. But there's way more to it - The application should give you a much clearer idea about the sorts of situations that mods may confront.

Whoot! Good luck, applicants!
Can you give more information about what the responsibilities and time commitment would look like?
Goodluck. c:
