Earlier this week, I opened my mailbox to discover a giant, handmade card. Inside was four full pages of messages and artworks from RPR members, thanking and encouraging me.
It took me many days to read it. Every time I opened it, my eyes clouded with tears so quickly I had to put it down again.
It is hands down the best piece of mail that I have ever received. I can't think of another time that I have ever been so touched.
I've spent a lot of time trying to think of a way to repay this incredible kindness. I'm not even sure it's possible.
But I will say this: Prior to receiving this letter, I had started having some health problems that were at least nominally stress-related. It even forced me into visiting the ER. The day that I opened this envelope, I started to recover. It has been a vivid illustration to me that small acts of kindness can be enormously powerful.
Thank you, all of you, whether you were part of the letter-writing scheme or not, for being so wonderful. I've never seen another place on the 'net where people were so universally kind, patient and genuinely caring. I can't take credit for that. I may have built the site, but it's you who make it great.
Over the next few days, I'm going to try and thank all the signatories of the card individually. For now, please accept the humble thanks of a very tired admin.

What wouldn't be a surprise?
But then it wouldn't be a surprise anymore!
I'm quite happy to put together a second card if people want me to
We will kust have to make a second card
My apologies Wizard, I knew I'd end up missing a few people
Oh, woe, I do wish I'd heard about this when it was in the making. What a sweet gesture from the RPRlings! You deserve every word on that card, Kim. You're a fine administrator and a finer person.
Do try to remain in good health, now! SadzombieKims simply won't do, but, fortunately, you seem to have found a gamebreaking secret weapon. (;

A day late BUT yay! I was waiting for you to go get it!
I'm glad we could help perk you up a bit The site has done a lot for us RPers, so really a little bit of thank you was the least we could do, honestly.

I was wondering when you would get that! I must say the scheming was fun.
Yay you got it! I was wondering when it would arrive.
I'm so glad you liked it, Kim!
It's real cool to look at the digital versions and see what you recieved.
As for your health, yikes! I'm so glad you're getting better, and you let us know ASAP when you start feeling bad again. Like it has been said before, we'll flood you with loveletters for our lovely Kim!

Oh my gosh this turned out SO AWESOME!!! I'm a moron and forgot about this, got flooded with so many PMs I stored them in a folder to read them later... and forgot. So I apologize too, didn't make it in there, but it's true that all of RPR was spoken for! WE LOVE YOU!
Yay, it finally arrived! And at a convenient time too, it seems! Don't you go and have any health problems, or we will send floods and floods of cards and your neighbours would be sure to start complaining about the massive piles of paper blocking your front door!
Spot the A's? Sorry, but I am too tired to try that out.
I however did start crying at a few of these messages, in a good way. I can only imagine Kim's awesome river of tears. Rainbow tears. Of Awesome.

Ah Seraphic, I adored all the small slips.
I could tell you were making a grand effort, and at the same time quite carried away by the bombastic spirit of your message. It was much appreciated.
f0x -- Please don't apologize! I am in no position to criticize anyone for getting overwhelmed with work and life. It happens to the best of us. Honestly, you've sent me so much encouragement at other times, I was actually surprised when you said you weren't in there because my brain lumped in your other kind notes.

Guys, my entry was an epic failure because of my own stupidity. Who wants to play "spot the A's"?
Kim! I have to apologize, as I was meant to be part of this, but was caught up in other things and forgot to add my piece But Everyone's else put such wonderful work into it, I doubt I could have done better
Hooray!
I was waiting with anticipation as to when you would receive it. I am happy you got it and that you are starting to feel better!

Glad to hear you're feeling better, Kim! Pinkie Pie tends to have that effect on people.
