To stop the haunting of Forum Forest, we had to awaken the three great Forest Guardians, who had gone dormant after our battle had devastated their lands.
We successfully awoke two, but then...

A massive spider creature, towering even above the trees, attacked! She was the one who had been stirring up the ghosts and zombies in Forum Forest, trying to claim it for herself. The community named her "Blightcilla" given the effects of her sting.
All seemed, lost, until an old friend returned to pay us back for the kindness we'd shown her/her/him/it in our previous year's adventure.
With help from the Many Headed Cyborg Dragon, we defeated Blightcilla and brought balance back to Forum Forest.
With the third guardian finally awakened, we had ensured peace once again.
Warriors of 2016! What were your favorite moments of this adventure?

I hate spiders, but this was still fun to read up on.
@Kim Hahaaa, of course, dang. I've thought of the MHCD as a friend for so long that I forgot she/she/he/it started out as an enemy!
@Dragonfire - "Blightcilla herself was the first large boss we ever had to face together, too" Well, except for the Many Headed Cyborg Dragon itself!
The MHCD being the one to finish Blightcilla SLAYED me! It felt so much like fate somehow.

So I was just doing some re-reading of the 2016 shenanigans, and I'd forgotten this part, but the Many-Headed Cyborg Dragon actually landed the final hit on Blightcilla!
The blight army was something to be feared! Blightcilla herself was the first large boss we ever had to face together, too, if I'm remembering right. And there was the forest replanting efforts, too! Lots of little seedlings got nurtured by folks to repair Forum Forest.
2016 was an exciting year in a couple of ways, though. A) Kudzu. They'd chew through the seeds just as fast as we could plant them, if they weren't put down right away! B) Attempts to find a missing riddle guardian eventually came down to having to punch a kudzu. (So tricky!) And then...
C) You all remember some of the riddles that year? The Crowned Seal? The Rebellious Seal? The Slashed Seal? Cripes. Those things were heckin' difficult to break.
