Next week, starting on Saturday the 13th, we'll be kicking off the Living Library event!Players interested in becoming "books": pick a unique aspect about yourself. (As per RPR's rules, religious and political topics should be avoided.) It may be cultural heritage, a niche hobby, an unusual profession, etc.
For example:
- self-employed basket weaver
- Lakota heritage
- kayak marathoner
- raptor rehabilitator
- 5 years with Parkinson's disease
Other members will then be able to peruse the "books" by asking appropriate, well-meaning questions in their topics.
This event will kick off next weekend, so use this time to think about what kind of subject you might be interested in being a "book" on!

@hexblading - possibly? Do you mean like ghost hunting or something?
This is a really awesome idea!
I also write this comment because of the artwork. This little book... It's so cute, this literally made my day looking at it Because even though I always love the art around this site for example in news posts, explanation pages, and all around in general, this lovely little book just made me smile so much.
Really sweet, greetings to the artist
Everyone stay safe and have a good time!

Are real-life occult themes allowed? Asking for me.
I think that I will give it try. I never thought about being a book before. *goes to find a quiet corner to think a bit*
This is the player being a book? Ok, interesting 🤔
Oh this sounds interesting! My 1st thought was use my job but I come to RP Repository to get away from that, so maybe I can share my mixed race heritage story or something. Looking forward to reading everybody's books!
This sounds interesting and I'll likely browse others' threads, but I can't think of a single thing about myself that isn't incredibly common haha.
This was a lot of fun last year and I had fun writing mine. I'll pick a new topic for this one.
I'm interested in trying this one this year, but I have what seems like 2 subjects that have a cause and effect relationship. I believe it be quite an uncommon combination, but I'm not sure if the rules would forbid something like this or if it would be okay. What would you think?
