Darth_Angelus wasn't feeling well enough to create the usual cinematic masterpieces he likes to gift us all with for Epic Week. But we have the original scripts for you that he had planned to work from. So just do your best to imagine his movie magic!
Epic Week 2025 - Video 1
Interior, RPR Mission Control. Tense operators work at their stations.
Mission Control Centaur: Perimeter scouts, report.
Interior, space ship cockpit where the Hero and Princess are flying.
Hero: We’re approaching the anomalous reading now…
Princess: It just looks like more junk.
Exterior, orbit. We pan through silently tumbling metal scrap. Then, we see a small bot come out from behind a piece of junk and collect a smaller piece.
Interior, space ship cockpit.
Princess: What is it doing?
Hero: Let’s follow it and find out.
Mission Control Centaur, through their comms panel: You had better go dark. Thruster navigation only.
Princess: Roger that, HQ. Turning off all non-essential systems.
Exterior. The ship’s lights go out. It slowly follows the bot using occasional bursts of air to adjust course.
They follow it to a large structure, which the bot attaches the debris to. As our heroes get closer, the structure opens fire on them. A glancing shot sends the ship spinning, and alarms blare. The Hero & Princess scramble to hit the controls, and lights immediately start coming back on around them.
Princess: Turn it back on! Turn it back on!
Hero: Everyone, hold on!
Some intense high-g maneuvering means they evade further weapons fire and get behind a large piece of debris for cover.
Hero slams the port maneuvering thrusters on, altering the ship’s trajectory before it emerges from the other side of the debris. Clearing the debris they barely miss the incoming fire from the structure. Hero hits the main thrusters, getting them in closer and opening fire with their own weapons.
The large structure breaks apart and lots of mini bots swarm out of it.
Mission Control Centaur: What’s going on up there?
Hero: There are too many for the ship to fight!
The princess hits the intercom button. Deeper in the ship, we see characters waiting in space suits looking up at the speakers.
Princess: Everyone grab your blasters, we’re going outside!
