Moderating can take a great deal of time, attention and emotional energy, and sometimes life demands all of that from us. Due to stressful life circumstances, MadRatBird is officially retiring as an RPR mod today. I'd been holding off on announcing this for as long as I possibly could in the hopes that life would stop being such a butt to MadRatBird, but I have to admit that I've been holding on a bit selfishly.MadRatBird wanted me to tell you, "I've had fun, it was nice being around and active when I was able to be! I'll still have my account and hopefully I'll be able to get back into it all at some point. The community is still important to me and always will be, and I don't see myself quitting all of that anytime soon."
Please join me in thanking him for everything he's done for our community.

I've never had the opportunity to meet MadRatBird, but Moderators truly are unsung heroes because their job can so tough at times. So thank you MadRatBird for your dedication to this website, the contributions you have made and helping Kim run the BEST Role-Playing site ANYWHERE.
