In keeping with the moderation theme of the day, today I'm releasing several upgrades for the forums and the ways that we interact with threads.

Turn off notifications about RPs you aren't involved in

Have you been having trouble keeping track of your own conversations, because your notificatins are so full of your friends' RPs? Now you can elect to only see notifications about IC threads that you are subscribed to. From the home page, go into your notification options:

And uncheck IC Forum Posts:

Subscribe to topics without getting emails about them

But wait! You say you hate subscribing to threads because of all the emails it sends you? Now you can subscribe without getting a single email about them!

To change your current subscriptions, go to your home page and choose to edit your topic subscriptions.

All you need to do is uncheck the boxes next to the topics you no longer want to get emails about.

You'll also get to pick whether you want emails, notifications or neither when you make posts. Plus, to set your default preference, go to your settings:

Remember what you said

Finally, do you sometimes forget that brilliant thing you said, or lose track of a conversation you forgot to subscribe to? Now, see all the posts you've ever made on one page, so you can quickly locate your old posts and pick up where you left off.

For now, you can reach this page from the "forum" navigation drop down, until we can find it a more permanent home.
