Kick off your weekend by finding a new RP partner! It's time for our annual meet cute challenge.
This week, the RPR challenges you to arrange a "meet cute" scene between two characters that have never met one another before. The results don't have to be romantic, but they do have to be funny, dramatic or so off-the-wall that it's the kind of thing people will talk about for years to come.
What's a meet cute, you ask?
A meet-cute is a scene in film, television, or literature in which two characters meet in a way that is so unusual or memorable, it seems as if their coming together must have been fate.
This type of scene is especially a staple of romantic comedies, commonly involving contrived, unusual, or comic circumstances. Frequently the meet-cute leads to a humorous clash of personalities or beliefs, embarrassing situations, or comical misunderstandings that further drive the plot.
You are encouraged to not only choose a character (belonging to someone else) that you've never played with before, but a player you've never played with before, too! This is a perfect chance to make a new friend and experiment with potential new RP partners without any risk. It's up to you if your RP will continue beyond the first meet cute scene!
If you are posting a RP ad on the Looking for RP forum, be sure to include "Meet Cute" in the title so others interested in giving this experiment a try can easily find you -- and so we can list your ad here!

TardisCatTwo your post was totally fine! It could just be that there are a fair amount of people in the same predicament as myself whose characters are tailored to specific worlds that it would be tough to break them from lol half the reason I didn't throw out an ad sooner was cause all my characters are basically just for two groups. Didn't have time to go through all the ads by others and find one that could work yet sadly.
I do hope that someone picks mine up soon..... My starter post was at least okay, right?.....

Heather's meet cute LFRP thread sank faster than a stone dropped in a lake. Nobody new would take it up, but she did get a 'sympathy' rp started based on it with an old rp partner of mine.
Waldo, go ahead and answer one of those meet cute ads! You only have to get STARTED before the deadline, you don't have to finish your RP!
