The great character template modernization initiative - nearly complete!

Although we have about 167 beautiful character templates, some of them are now more than five years old, none of them support small-screen/mobile devices, and the site has grown and evolved around them in ways that no one expected.

All last year, I worked on modernizing projects to make the RPR better than ever. The biggest project of all was the great character template modernization initiative -- so big, I'm still finishing!

This nearly year-long renovation effort is about to bear fruit! In about a week, all of our official site templates will update. This means that many templates will be slightly different than before. All of them will be made mobile friendly (for those who have this feature enabled), easier to read, and more bug-proof than ever.

This is an enormous update for the site, and with your help, we can take this launch from "good" to "perfection" -- when it arrives, please keep your eyes open and report anything that seems wrong to you, big or small, so we can banish any new bugs that might sneak in immediately.
