The final portal has been sealed! What an incredible event! Thank you SO much to everyone who participated! This really is my favorite time of year, and it's because of all of you.
Over the next few days, everyone who assisted riddle-cracking, goblin-punching or weapon gathering will receive a slice of birthday cake, iced with a record of their personal accomplishments, to display with pride on their profile. You've earned it.
And now that the goblin party crashers have been beaten back, I'm able to give the entire site its birthday present. You've been asking for this for five years, and now Server is finally old enough to care for it properly: Enjoy private message chat, everyone.
You can launch any private message conversation as a chat by opening the conversation, and then clicking "Launch Conversation as Chat" from the sidebar.
And now, reward yourself with some victory music!
Happy 5th Birthday, RP Repository.
But wait, there's more!!!
Remember that there's still SIX contests going on, where you can win amazing prizes.Genre Jumble Art Contest
Many of you look forward to this art contest all year! Imagine a character that perfectly represents a RP genre, such as scifi, fantasy, romance, historical or many others, and create an illustration of it. It may end up as part of the group of characters that lives on our homepage for the rest of the year!Sonnet contest
Much like the art contest, you'll be picking a genre of RP you want to illustrate -- but this time, you'll be doing it through poetry! A sonnet is a poem with a very specific structure and rhyming scheme -- it's all explained in the contest thread.Essay contest
How has RP changed your life? Perhaps it helped you gain confidence, become a better writer, learn new things about yourself, maybe even led you to a special someone? In 400 to 1000 words, explain the effects that being involved in RP have had in your life.
Spread the love contest
Post a link to the RPR on your blog, facebook page, twitter account, whatever, and be entered into a raffle for awesome prizes!Caption Contest
Think up a caption to make this picture even funnier, and you could win amazing prizes!.Dice Roll Tombola
Can't draw? Don't like rhyming? Don't worry -- you can still win a kick butt prize during Epic Week! All you need to do is roll a hundred sided die.How did we do?
And finally, let me know how I did! Did you enjoy this event? Should we do something similar next year? What changes, additions or omissions would you like to see?Post tags: Epic Week 2015

My fellow denizens of the RP Repository, consider what you have done in the past week:
You have solved thirty riddles. Not ten. Not twenty. Thirty. Each of those riddles required two unlocked clues--a total of sixty clues unlocked by a whole slew of members by virtue of their various attributes and achievements! Wow!
You have destroyed 702 goblins of all stripes, many of which required extraordinary amounts of coordination; you have also defeated a monstrous dragon boss that took 46 hours of teamwork and vigorous assault to remove from the battlefield!
On top of that, you have sent out hundreds of weapons after carefully maneuvering each and every one of them through the labyrinthine bowels of Forohfor Keep by means of the unwieldy Doubutt. Without these weapons, neither of the above two achievements would have even been possible.
This is truly the most epic community I have ever had the pleasure of being a part of. Well done, RPR! Well done, Kim, and thank you for that rollercoaster! I can only imagine the many hours of coding, drawing, and giddy excitement that went into this project.
That was a truly magnificent journey, the likes of which I can only hope I will be fortunate enough to experience again. I will always remember it fondly.
