Named after hallucinations suffered after it's proprietor consumed a bad batch of Alyrian Firewater. The inn & tavern has none the less become an integral part of the fledgling settlement. From being a hive of local information, to being the best (and only) spot in town for food, drink, and a comfortable place to sleep. It's often the first location many new to the town stop by first, and a frequent hangout for most of the residents.
Due to it's design, and being mostly built into the foot of the mountain itself. The papaya is far larger on the inside then the outside, and with more room to potentially grow as well. Also due to this same reason, it stands to be the most easily defended building should the town come under siege or assault. Thus it's been declared a public 'rally point' in the event of an emergency.
Zelune - The Sarvix Innkeeper
It's owner, guardian, and local veteran of the Fendrin war. Zel is a rather interesting sight for those who arn't used to coming across a Sarvix - much less outside of the Sky city. With ashen feathered wings large enough to lift a Dragonian, they nearly dwarf their mere five and a half foot, half human half elv'ir counterpart. With ink black hair highlighted in deep oceanic hues, his dark skin makes the silver steel of his earthen hued leather armor all the more vibrant.
Sharp eyed and keen eared, little if anything manages to slip his attention - even if his quiet nature tends to make him slip into the background all too easy. At the offering of conversation though, he's quick to indulge himself and share not only stories of wars and battles past. But recipes and techniques for making the strangest of backyard brews.
If you need a room, food, drink, or just someone to converse with. The tender is never really hard to find.
Food & Drink Menu
Due to the daily things that can impact the availability of ingredients, stores, and supplies within Alyria in it's present state. The Papaya doesn't have a dedicated menu for the time being. Perhaps, if there were enough dedicated hunters (5) and Gatherers (5) then one might able to finally be made!
For now however, requests for alchohol will be met with whatever backwater brew Zelune's been able to come up with - and with unpredictable results in terms of quality. Likewise requests of food will be met with whatever he has on hand, which also varies in terms of quality. Least with food he can at least promise it'll taste good, for with his spice obsessed ass even the most weirdly unattractive meals will be rather enjoyable! Even if sometimes it won't be as much when it comes out the other end.
Rooms for Rent
With six of the rooms no larger then that of an airship cabin, and the two suites not much bigger. The papaya could probably use some upgrades to it's accommodations in the future, should the town grow enough to warrant it. For now however, it suits the tiny population of Alyria just fine in Zelune's eyes - and discourages too much 'crowding' within the inn half's halls and bedchambers.
Fully furnished to suit the basic needs of travelers and some long term guests, one can easily find a place to rest their head for just a few marks a night.
Basic Room (Single Bed): 2 Steel/5 Elic marks a night.
Deluxe Room (Double Bed) 5 Steel/8 Elic marks a night.
