Ryokan Desserts
Seasonal Dango
Related to Mochi, these sweet rice flour dumplings come in a variety of flavors that change with the seasons. Served with your choice of green tea, and two skewers of three dumplings each.
Available flavors: Maple, Green Tea, Sweet Red Bean, Chestnut.
Ice Cream Mochi
With a soft shell similar to a dumpling, these sweet treats are served on a flat plate lined with ice crystals to keep cold until you eat them.
Available flavors: Chocolate, Strawberry, Green Tea, Taro, Sweet Red Bean, Lychee
Sohm Al Lava Cake
A chocolate lava cake shaped like the Dravanian mountain it's named after has been given a hot fudge core. Dusted in powdered sugar it's then topped with a scoop of vanilla bean icecream and drizzled in a rolanberry glaze for a decorative and sweet addition. It even comes with two spoons! Though sharing it or not is your choice to make.
Double Chocolate Rolanberry Shortcake
Just like the name implies! This dark chocolate cake sports fresh cut and sliced rolanberries on every layer - even the top! with a rich, fluffy hot chocolate flavored mousse to serve as a bed for them, also on every layer! You only get a single slice though, not the whole cake. I know, it's unfortunate.
Winter Rose
This simple, yet hot and decadent treat is a delight all year around! Our signature rose tea, made from the rose petals of house grown roses is mixed in equal parts with rich and creamy hot chocolate. Just like Sir Haurchefant used to make. Served in an earthenware mug and paired with a spoon to stir it with.
