Kelly was sunbathing! The blondie was dressed in a red bikini, laying on a black beach towel. It was warm today to be the middle of winter! That water was probably cold but the sound of the waves was soothing. Kelly didn't intend to swim anyway, she had only wanted to get her tan on. She yawned lightly, stretching a little before turning her music up on her iPhone. The song of the day was Soap - Melanie Martinez.
Sly made his way from the apartment building to the beach, tossing his backpack onto the sand near Kelly with a laugh, "You look cozy." He was wearing a black baseball cap and sunglasses, as well as a black jacket and fingerless black cotton gloves. The vampire was all for the color black. Sly wasn't the type of vamp that would burst at the touch of the sun, but prolonged exposure could cause second degree burns if he's in direct sunlight without any kind of cover. "You better seriously appreciate my company today," he laughed, "The beach of all places! Stupid sun..." Those red eyes glanced upwards at the sky a second, shielded only by dark sunglasses and he scowled in discontent. But, if his friend wanted to sunbathe, who was he to stop her? "What are we listening to?..." he scrunched his nose after a moment. A hand dug in his backpack to find his PS Vita and he turned it on after throwing a black beach towel next to hers. He wasn't even about to sunbathe. Nope. This was just hangout time in his case. He sat down on the towel, got comfortable, gave Kelly another annoyed little look and started playing Digimon on his Vita.
Sly showing up startled her, even though she had been expecting him at some point or other. She looked up at him as he spoke, rambling about the sun. "Poor baby," she giggled. "Soap," she said simply to his question. He was being adorable today, with his antics. "What are you playing?" she asked curiously when he pulled out that Vita. She expected him to say some horror game like maybe Corpse Party or something.
