Kiri had been living in town for a few long months herself but enjoyed her cozy apartment. She didn't feel right asking for a house or anything because it felt like she'd be taking advantage of their hospitality. The vampire was laying on her bed slooowly dozing off. She had work later that night and wanted to be well rested for it..
A loud bang was likely heard as the owner of apartment number eight slammed his door obnoxiously. Sly wasn't trying to be quiet at all; dishes rattling loudly, rustling through his cabinets, and the sound of something heavy being drug across hardwood was just the tip of the iceberg. The other vampire was sensed, but how could he know his neighbor wanted sleep? Moments later the building had suddenly gone from all that noise to absolutely none, an eerie quiet replacing his loudness. Maybe he had departed as quickly as he'd came?
A subtle growl left those lips after a bit of that noise, as she was getting extremely annoyed. How RUDE! She threw her comforter off and stood up, storming to her door and jerking it open in order to march into the hall barefoot and in her jammies to pound on door number eight. Then, it stopped? Where'd he go? There was just so much noise.. She turned and looked at the stairs, rushing down them to see if maybe he'd departed that way, "HEY NUMBER EIGHT GUY! I'm gonna kick your tail you know that?!" Was he there? Or had he already gone?
He had missed Kiri's storming into the hallway but had just barely heard her yell at 'number eight guy'. Did she mean him? He had just reached the front door to leave when she finally got down there and turned to face her with a laugh. "Why? What'd I ever do to you?" he asked her in amusement. He shifted a black backpack on his shoulder a bit, as it had started to slip. A black 'G' charm slid a little on the cord around his neck with the movement. "I got a ton of crap to do today so I can't waste my time talkin' to you," he said after a moment, "Later." He'd turn to leave, regardless of what was said afterwards and exit the building unless she physically stopped him.
Kiri wasn't expecting to see Sly when she reached the door, but had expected a bigger, more obnoxious looking person. She blinked. "You're LOUD," she complained, "I have work in six hours and-" No doubt he had cut her off and left suddenly since he was in a hurry to be somewhere. "HEY!" she protested, glaring at the door when he was gone. She stormed back upstairs, grumbling mean things about the guy before throwing herself back into bed angrily.
