I'm aware it was a pretty lengthy wait. I'm not as free IRL as I wish I could be, but it was about time I came around and got this done. Also, I hope everyone is having a wonderful Christmas break! I'm getting ready to make the first post topic on the main story, so you can post immediately or wait until after the break. Everything will be gradual so I doubt you'll be missing much if you step in late.
I've allowed everyone to be able to invite others and I encourage that. Because we have a Location forum it'll be helpful that we have a good number of members. Before we get confused between when to post in the Main Story Forum and when to post in the Locations Forum, let me go ahead and explain. If the main events happen in your area then post in the Main Story Forum. If not then remain in the Locations forum and be sure to keep up to date with everything that's going on. Either I'll make events or announcements on which area it will be so no one misses it. I haven't quite decided yet. I may even roll dice (something I also encourage). Just keep watch on the main story and I'll try to make sure everything will go smoothly.
One more thing! Child characters are also welcome! The world doesn't consist of adults only. Yes, the RP has adult themes, but it applies to OOC only.
Besides all of that you all can begin posting after I make the first topic. Good luck! You're free to die or survive as long as you can.

Also, just to be clear. The time period is technically modern? Post modern? And what condition is the earth in at this point? Is everything normal at the start?

You can choose any place that exists on Earth. Everything that will happen will be global for the most part. Just make sure you are not the only character in that area. You and someone else can agree on a location and that will be fine.-
Good to see this group resurfacing, and just in time for the holidays no less.
A couple of questions about how locations are going to work though:
1. Is it up to the group members to make the locations? or are the locations going to be made by yourself?
2.Are all the locations supposed to be within the same area? Like within the limits of a city for example. Or will they be scattered across something like an entire country?
