Folayve

Be kind! We're here to have fun, not get hung up on technicalities and limitations. "Cringe" does not exist here. That said, while just about anything goes, keep in mind not to let your own idea of fun overwhelm and dominate over someone else's. We all want to enjoy our RP on Folayve.

If you decide to play something like a science-fiction character with access to amazing technology or abilities, keep in mind the setting of the world itself. You may come from anywhere or anywhen, but you will have to make up the reason why, for example, your space marine is able to resupply his ammo and repair his gear when the natural resources and lack of industry on Folayve won't provide him with those things. Not saying you can't do it, just make sure to think of a reason that fits the untamed nature of the world!

"Magic" is the easiest and most welcome excuse for anything you want it for, here. It permeates Folayve in a wild form, and can therefore be readily accessed and shaped by any character who has the ability or knowledge to do so, even if they learned from another place, time, or dimension.

Folayve is a Minecraft world, hosted by Eruvyreth. There is a custom painted map which serves as the RP environment, and does not have resources available to gather in traditional Minecraft style, nor will hostile mobs spawn to harass you during RP. We ask that you do not chop down the custom trees, or strip mine into the ground. You won't find much, and will only destroy the carefully crafted map.

Creative, Spectator, and Survival modes are all available to support your RP-friendly builds and actions, as well as a Morph plugin that allows you to disguise as any mob type if you wish to.

If you want to build without the aid of Creative mode, there is a vanilla-generated Gameplay world available in which you can gather resources. Just type /spawn and click the nescrew sign. This world is also good if you simply want to play without RPing, and has a number of bases and the like already created by non-RP members of the server. You are welcome to join the fun, there!
