The City of Dis
The city of Dis, militant Theocratic city which reigns over the country from the center. Those who are active in the military are given a degree of privilege according to their rank, enjoying various discounts. The main faith of the city is “Veritas”. A massive imperial city belonging to the Kinn, surrounded by flat clear lands that stretch for about a mile before coming to the 50' high and 10' thick stone wall, it's entire surface seemingly like simple black stones, only for the faces of thousands, upon millions of souls would push forth along the surface as though it were nothing but a think silk layer, the mouths moving in an unheard scream of pain and agony before vanishing as one would step away once again, these souls were not gathered per say by the Kinn themselves, rather than those who had fallen, whether it be those of the city themselves that have fallen over the years, or those souls of the kinn who had fallen over the years. There were but very few spots along the surface of the wall that did not shift in such a manner, these were symbols and crests of the sinns some of the crest the kinn themselves took to be recognized as. The other spots were the four main gates along the walls, each located at North, South, East, and West, a standing arch of nearly 40' in height and 20' wide to accommodate for the high traffic of beings coming and going from the city, when the need arose the gates could be closed with greatly decorated and heavy ebony doors, reinforced by intricate and elaborate circles within the doors, further supported by silver barbed and salted iron gates on either side of the ebony doors.
The city itself may not seem like any big deal, just another city with varying shops, smithies, inns, brothels, bars and even factories, but when one were to look a closer, or deeper that is, one would see an intricately laid pattern and design within the lay out of certain particular buildings and structures throughout the entire city, the shops, the barracks the training halls all seem to follow a particular pattern where as the schools and colleges, libraries and such followed another, the so called 'churches' or sanctuaries seemingly yet another. These patterns and designs would create a flow of energy in a sense, as each Kinn used different energy for their purposes, it made sense to have these energies readily available to them when they 'returned home' as it were. Each of these energy flows moved through the entire city, but all seem to convene at the central point where the citadel once stood at the very center of the city.
The energy that would flow through this city would come from the citizens themselves, and their souls, no matter how dark or 'light' they might have been, they were within the city of the Kinn, and such were subjects of theirs in one way or another, and in turn they were more or less batteries of sorts to the kinn. The 9 million citizens within the city never did truly loose they energy, nor would they feel any drain on their being at all, they were tended to like that of a shepherds heard, cared for despite them being of flesh. There were many different classes and races within the walls of the city even, enforcing the idea that the Kinn truly did not care what race you were, if you had a soul and could sinn, you were useful in some manner or another, the populace itself a wide diversity including the likes of elves, dark elves, dwarves, dragons, humans, and several anthropomorphic creatures.
