  • Basics

While there is a lot of variation in the species, Myclyx all have the following features:

Quadribracchial - Each Myclyx is born with four arms, the top set placed in a 'normal' position, shoulders below the neck, the second set extending from the back, those shoulders located just below the shoulder blades of the first set. Both sets of arms are fully functional if the Myclyx has no deformities.

Hoooves - Myclyx are hooved creatures and in most cases, they are small and relatively dainty.

Folded Ears - All Myclyx ears fold over at the tips. Ears are also small in proportion to those of a feline species.

Smooth Skin - They have no fur, and their skin is usuall soft, supple and smooth to the touch.

Mane - Both males and females of the species have manes that attach their hair to their tails down the center of their spine. It is often the same texture as their hair and misconstrued for a long style.

Short Muzzles - Most similar to that of a feline.

Large, fluffy tails - Most similar to that of a persian feline. Male Myclyx tend to sport longer, silkier fur while females tend to sport short, unruly fluff. Variations may occur in texture.

Gems - All Myclyx have an assortment of gems across their body, the pattern depending on their sex and zodiac, further detailed in the section below. While it may vary, all Myclyx sport a gem in the center of their body where the belly button would be. It is extremely rare for a Myclyx to have all of the gems in the above picture. Gems may take any shape, but usually correspond with natural break lines of the particular gem.

Galactic Eyes - Myclyx eyes reflect a random galaxy and / or set of stars for the rest of their life. They may display shooting stars or comets, depending on what is occuring in the reflected galaxy at any given time. If a Myclyx is blind, their eyes will be completely blacked out with no galaxy reflected.

Not only do the Myclex take on the element, personality traits and gem of their zodiac, they also take on physical traits that vary from being to being.

OTOL8L4.pngFor instance, a Myclex born under the Aries sign may sport spiraled diamond horns, while a Cancer might have ridges along the inner portions of their fingers, similar to that of a crab. It is extremely randomized as to what sort of features they may take on, be it physical or personality wise.

The number of gems seen on a Myclex body, which make their apperance when one reaches sexual maturity, depends entirely upon the care given to the particular being during their childhood. The better one is cared for, the more gems one grows and, as a result, the more attractive and high class they are seen to other Myclex.

To reitterate, it is extremely rare for one to have all of the gems possible in the pattern and impossible for them to have none. All Myclex have the belly button gem and at least one other. They vary significantly in size and shape from individual to individual but they are all in the same basic pattern.ugblXVA.png

Not only are the type of gem displayed across the body, they are also what their claws, hooves and occasionally upper and lower canine teeth are made of. If the latter variation is present, one may have to file down these gems, as they will continuously grow. This often proves a problem for Aries.
