1. No God-modding, Metagaming, Or narrating the world around you.
If your action or magic effects someone else you roll a D20 and edit post accordingly. Any number under 7 is a failure over 10 is a success. 7-10 is somewhere between. Spells require 1 prep. Powerful spells require at least 2 preps.
All mains get to add +2 to their mod.

​Major curses and spells are the GM's discretion.
For little things, such as kisses, punches, etc. a roll may not be needed. If that is the case, still be respectful of the other roleplayer. I.E. "Rumpelstiltskin holds his hand out to see if Belle will take it." vs "Rumpelstiltskin takes Belle's hand".
Metagaming means posting something In Character because you have out of character knowledge. For example - your character shouldn't be rude to the mayor of Storybrook because you know secretly that she is the Evil Queen Regina. A reminder that you and your character are separate entities.
For the sake of the story, NPCs (Non-Player Characters) and the roleplay environment are controlled by players who are given GM and Moderator permissions.
As a reminder - you can't godmod Nonplayer characters. Attacking an NPC must still follow post etiquette. Post in attempts/roll and resist the temptation to describe the result in posts.
If you are interested in becoming a moderator, please inidcate so on your application.
2. Post in a reasonable time-frame
(Nobody should wonder where you are for 2 days). Stay active or you risk being removed from the group. We are understanding but expect the common courteousy of alerting the gm of vacations etc. For those circumstances, posts are required in order to excuse characters from any current rps. Nobody should be waiting to post because someone else decided to take a week off.
3. Keep it PG-13.
If it shouldn't be shown on the Disney Channel or ABC - then request private chat with CONSENTING adults (18 +)]. Any breaking of this rule will result in immediate ban of the player from our group. Although side romances and erotic love stories within the world are not judged, this should remain a group comfortable for all ages. Please have under 18 in your character description if you do not wish to be contacted for such requests.
4. Make proper forum choices.
Forum is organized.
Episodic rp is gm episodic timeline. This will be our main chronological story.
Storybrook is for ANYTIME rp in storybrook setting.
All other forum locations are used for topics that explore character pasts in their
specific locations: just like the show!
Therefore, Storybrook and Episodic RP are the only present tense forums.
5. Our Forum Specific Rules
Upon joining - a topic post must be created within 72 hours under our forum labeled Introductions in a format similar to the original 3 topic posts in that section.
Canon (main) characters from the show must be open in order to create and play. Please alert gm on your application so he can remove him/her from open status. A list of main characters can be found on "The Cast" Page.
Regarding style, if you are playing at least (1) main you are allowed flexibility with font type. That is [font=**] All color must remain black.
