One night, everything was relatively calm. The night sky was filled with stars, and the half-moon offered light to those below. Growlithe and houndours were playing or fighting, or a little bit of both under the cover of the tall grass, while bug-catchers retired to their homes and families, explaining to their children why they do what they do for the millionth time.
Then a shower of shooting stars caught quite a few night owl's attention, alerting their friends around them to step outside to watch the strange occurrence. Small pieces of rock burnt up in the atmosphere, but something much larger, but more difficult to see faded into the night sky. Most onlookers hardly noticed, as only the outline of the object burned brightly.
The populace of most cities stared with awe. But one small town, Whalerdrake, where one small man had spent most of his days drunk and walking around in a stupor, was convinced to head back inside when that small man pointed his drink to a Pokemon that had walked up to him, "Ab-absol!" He stumbled back and most others returned to their houses, guiding their children with them. The Pokemon walked away, it's job done.
