After pondering and watching moves that were super effective hit, I realized that Evade rolls would have a very difficult time avoiding them, as they were only effective if you rolled higher than the damage roll. They were mostly nullified when fighting against super effective attacks, and completely nullified when fighting double-super-effective attacks. Making the Evade roll into a d20 die and pitting it against the attack roll made much more sense and is feasible as an option, now.
